FREAKING AMAZING!!!! Everyone has already said all the right stuff so i just second all the great comments.
ОтветитьHi there! Do you always paint over a layer of dry modeling paste? Do u prefer that over gesso? Do you use both?? Amazing painting💕✨
ОтветитьI really like your style! This is a awsom painting. I really love watshing how everything comes together with every stroke.
Ответитьas an artist who thinks out side to box on every project this is awesome creativity and well executed..
ОтветитьMiss Lydia is it your habit to start with Acrylic and finish elements(faces, raven, candle) in oil??? I think you are a brilliant painter , YOU INSPIRE ME…..THANK YOU FOR SHARING YOUR TALENT!!!!
ОтветитьWhy did you decide to paint oil over the acrylic? Great painting, I love it!
ОтветитьThis is a truly amazing painting you are very talented. Can I ask how long it took to paint in real time?
ОтветитьAmazing work!
ОтветитьI have dream like this how come❤
ОтветитьFabulous
ОтветитьAwesome as always.
ОтветитьWow, no words❣️
ОтветитьI have watched this video several times and I just can’t get over how breathtaking it is. The whole idea and concept and they way you develop it is simply mind blowing. How do you come up with these ideas and turn them into these gorgeous paintings??? I am so curious about your thought process from beginning to end! I love all your paintings but I think that “Balance” which was a mixed media painting and this one are my very favorites. Can’t wait to see more mixed media paintings of abstract portrait realism. You are truly one of a kind artist!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️
ОтветитьHoly mackerel, Sunshine! That was a lot of hours, and if that all came out of our imagination, you are truly incredible! I think that was the most fascinating painting I have watched you paint yet. To see it evolve from one look to the next to the next, then to have the oil paint, and all the details. All I can say is WOW. I hope you got well paid for that. Well deserved! Absolutely exquisite, Ms Dali!
ОтветитьI would LOVE to study under you!! Your talent and vision is so amazing! I’m in awe!
ОтветитьAbsolutely stunning ❤❤❤ wow so talented 😮
ОтветитьBrilliant!!!!
ОтветитьLydia where do you get your ideas? this is amazing! love it!!!!
ОтветитьVery cool art, Lydia. I love the crow! Please explain why you tone the canvas with burnt sienna? I am just learning acrylic painting, every tip helps, thanks!
ОтветитьThat is amazing, I love it, the colors are magnificent and so is the artwork.
ОтветитьWowww ❤❤❤❤
ОтветитьThis is the most remarkable piece I have ever seen you do. Everytime I think I can't be amazed...you just go ahead and amaze me. I actually found myself crying as I watched your attention to fine details, bold and subtle shading, color choices and blending...on and on as I watched it not only speak to time as depicted...but how time has helped you refine your skills...to the level that all of your creative geniys can fully be expressed on canvas. I truly hope your gift is being recognized all over the world. THE END of my book for today.
ОтветитьI got so engrossing in your video that when my cat came in and meowed, I let out a bit of a shriek. It's a good thing I didn't commission this because I'd just sit in front of it and get lost. Absolutely amazing.
ОтветитьAs I watch this I thought that if I had this painting in my house, it would put me over the edge!
Then, I thought is it a blackbird, a crow or a raven!
I would need to read about bird symbolism!
Why the clock ?
Why the candle?
Why an hourglass, where the sands of time are hearts?
White face, a sigh of purity as time moves on?
Old clock, complicated mechanism?
This painting would compel me to spend time, looking, researching symbols and would give me endless hours of just learning to appreciate it?
That is the sign of a great painting!
IT WOULD MAKE A FABULOUS LABEL FOR A WINE BOTTLE!
Quick question?lIn song
“ why did all the light go out in Massachusetts?”
Love it
Love your work
Cheers from Niagara
Best video yet (and that's saying a lot). Insanely talented. I look forward to these every week!
ОтветитьLydia, that is simply amazing! I think I might have called it 'Out of Time'. Thx for sharing your talent and creativity. 💜
ОтветитьThank you Lydia! I watched and thought how courageous you were to push through and keep going until the end. So amazing and beautiful!
ОтветитьAbsolutely incredible!! Do you sell your art? What would a piece like this cost? Thank you 😍❤️
ОтветитьI don’t know what you charged for this commission, but are you allowed to make posters of commissions? Because I would totally buy one💜💜💜 (and I hope you charged alot$$)
ОтветитьHi lydia. Do you have a skillshare class? I love your work! Especially the incorporation pf collages❤❤❤
ОтветитьGorgeous! Love the top of the clock!!!
ОтветитьWow...*gulp*...this was soooo emotionally stirring...I sat quiet..mesmerised at the end..for minutes..and seriously teared up..thank you for sharing this unexpected "multi-dimensional, time piece"💙..it definitely deserves to be displayed in a space with no other time machines💯....or mirrors
ОтветитьThis is phenomenal ..... wow ..... so good ❤
ОтветитьDude, you could NOT pry this painting from my cold dead hands! It is SO sick Lydia!!! W-O-W!! I Effin LOVE ITTT!!! Some of your BEST work gurl... 4 real. Did you use some of your open acrylics on this one? Just curious... I know you really enjoyed them. I am seriously considering grabbing some to try myself after seeing your review. Thx 4 sharing this! It is SO dope and represents the concept in time in every aspect. I am sure that the great ppl that commissioned this kick a$$ painting were more than tickled pink when they set eyes on it. Damn... it is SOO GOOD! I don't comment much (although I never miss a video) BUT I just HAD to with this one. It is absolutely captivating....moving. EVERYTHING about it is just soooo... ugh... chef's kiss! I noticed you tucked the birds feet... prob best, huh?;) lol. I paused it for so long in three diff places of the video just to admire all the details. Well done gurl!! Much love & take care!
P.s. The video was sick as well... the music (reminded me somewhat of Evanesence in some parts. friggin LOVE!)... the ticking clock at the beginning & end...the sketch... EVERYTHING! This one as a whole really set the bar pretty high now! haha!;) LOVE your workk!! :):) ok Ima shh now! lol
Another wower! This is phenomenal. I watch a lot of tutorial videos, trying to learn how to paint - never had the opportunity or means for formal learning, but it's something I've wanted to do since I can remember. Your channel is the one I keep returning to, not just to learn your technique, but also because you unlock things in my imagination every time. Do you read a lot of Edgar Allan Poe?
ОтветитьI am speechless - Well done on so many levels!❤
