Ответитьbearded ladies in the outback
Ответитьthey eat cats? gross
ОтветитьGreat video, appreciate it as an Aussie
ОтветитьYou do realise those burnt out cars on the side of the road are from the local indigenous people who just ditch them and burn them so they can get new ones from the government.
ОтветитьI'm aussie and never even been to the outback :(
ОтветитьHi I live in Australia
ОтветитьI like Nate's capris! lol
ОтветитьAs an Aussie who grew up in NT great to see the Aussie outback represented.
ОтветитьI cannot believe they didn't visit Darwin
ОтветитьSpent a lot of time in outback growing up (now in Perth near Hillarys) and those nights of crystal clear sky gazing with zero pollution & zero interference from man made light & noise is breathtaking. Lived and worked in the Kimberley's (Broome) and explored many remote places. It is addictive and gets in your blood for sure as you always miss it especially 4WD camping remote. The Canning Stock Route is the most epic remote 4WD adventure of all
ОтветитьThat’s so cool y’all know someone who painted art that’s in Beyoncé house!! She’s be impressed I think
ОтветитьThe night sky is unreal! Thanks for sharing it with us. Great video
ОтветитьThis was an absolutely incredible video- we are feeling so inspired and are desperate to drive around (and through) our country one day!
ОтветитьHey Kara and Nate. I just love the trips that ya'll take. And I'm flabbergasted, I did not know there is camels in Australia. I love how we learn new things just about every day.

ОтветитьAs an Aussie I see this as an absolute win 👍

Ответитьwatching this as an Aussie makes me realise both how beautiful the country is and just how little of it I've explored. Thanks for yet another great video
ОтветитьAs an Aussie, welcome! I love that you're showcasing the beautiful outback, our First Nations People and all the amazing things our country has to offer. I also love going through the comments and seeing how many other Aussies are following along with your journey.
Ответитьif you came to perth in Western Australia then I would love to meet you I live here in Perth.
ОтветитьGo to gimpy in old
ОтветитьCould be wrong, but most likely the reason why the road randomly turned into Pavement, is because WA (Western Australia) has a lot of money from their mines etc, so the state has some of the best roads in the country. AWESOME video btw way 😊
ОтветитьAddorrable Bravehearts..... All
Honestly, this comment is also about R.I.P. to those vehicles and trucks 🎉
❤️💛🖤
ОтветитьEvery comment starting with “as an Aussie” is killing me 😭

ОтветитьSuch an interesting video, very entertaining, thank you.
An important thing to note with our history is that Afghan’s came to Australia as outback merchants and brought camels. They were men who ‘married in’ so to speak (one way or another) with aboriginal communities.
BTW- Australia does not have ‘one of the worst extinction rates’- it has the worst by many measures- the worst and fastest in the last 200+ years. While much of that is due to many factors of colonisation, a feral cat kills about 740 animals a year. It’s a controversial issue here - the science says cats are a massive factor in native wildlife extinction, but we don’t have enough laws yet to keep them on private property. Feral or roaming cats also suffer from life outdoors (said from the pov of a cat lover). You’ll find environmental issues are different in Australia, more present in some ways because we do have the largest urban sprawl in the world.
I wouldn’t say this community of aboriginal people ‘entered western civilisation’, they met western civilisation. Also, while they, and other aboriginal peoples, may have been made famous by their art- where is the money?
These are all nuances that I understand are difficult to see when travelling, but I think some of these points are important to understand as white people travelling in non white spaces especially.
Keep on keeping on! Best wishes!
Be very careful if you want to do this. Only go in a toyota. If your car breaks down your have a high likelyhood of DYING.
ОтветитьAll the Aussies in the comments is great and this is a great video. As I've been watching this I've been noticing places I've been witch is very cool to see
ОтветитьI lived in Kununurra for a few years n concreted a few remote communities that took quite a while to get to
ОтветитьI didn’t know Australia had camels!
ОтветитьAs an Australian fan I am so incredibly proud of you two for doing this trip in such a respectful manner. Thank you for bringing attention to such an important part of Australia .
You have won the hearts of many Aussies after this video. ❤
As an Aussie, welcome! I love that you're showcasing the beautiful outback, our First Nations People and all the amazing things our country has to offer. I also love going through the comments and seeing how many other Aussies are following along with your journey.
ОтветитьKara put some bloody suncream on you look about 45!
ОтветитьNow THIS is how to be a tourist in Aussie 👏🏻
Ответить❤
ОтветитьThank you for showing us this! Our remote Aboriginal communities are a forgotten group here unfortunately. Ed is a bloody legend! Walking the walk there mate, good on ya. I also loved seeing you both eat my snacks for some reason 😂
ОтветитьAs soon as you pulled up to that first campsite I was WAITING for the flies segment! I'm an American who did my fair share of outback travel for a couple of years (finally settled in Perth) and NO ONE tells you about the swarms of sticky flies EVERYWHERE out there!!! 🤣
