The justice system is rotten. All politicdicking.
ОтветитьHe confessed to murder: Jamie Foxx said, “We know you did it.” Clyde said, “It’s not what you know …” that is a confession. Unless it was not recorded, then yes.
Ответитьjaime fox ruined this movie.
ОтветитьYup....one of my favorite movies of this genre. Too bad the ending requires you to suspend an unreasonable amount of disbelief. We're led to believe that some rando prosecutor outwits this supposed extreme tactical thinker who plans every moving part over what.....10 years? I mean he dug into EVERY FUCKING solitary cell in the prison and created an escape hatch.....smdh.
The only way I could make the ending "make sense" is thinking Clyde wanted to die. He would 100% know how to disarm the bomb that HE FUCKING CREATED......I mean....c'mon.
Before this movie, I was of the firm belief that an ending couldn't ruin the entirety of a movie.......I changed my mind.
Communism in concept and theory is not good!! 😂
ОтветитьIn a movie that embodies incredulity, the fact that Foxx's character walks away thinking he has a confession actually stands out.
ОтветитьIs jamie foxx a lawyer? Cause he seens to be operating like a detective ..
ОтветитьAnd then Jamie Foxx had to whine to change the ending to his liking and ruin the movie.
Man,the ending was so disappointing.
Leonidas looking small weak here.
ОтветитьI love this movie
Ответить💯 Exactly 💯 but it depends what you're accusing me of .. cause I haven't actually done anything over the line in my life.. until now.. legally.. 🗡️😝🗡️⚔️🔥
N2Z is the Process of the slash 💯
One of the few movies where you are rooting for the “bad guy”
ОтветитьAwesome movie but the ending sucked.
ОтветитьJamie....who ever sucks as an actor.
ОтветитьThis scene is a classic case of the term "Counter Intuitive". 1) The supposed prosecutor agrees with him or he is just disarming him, public prosecutors have the decision whether or not to prosecute someone so why would you cheer for the guy you will prosecute? Its like Ted Bundy complementing a woman before he disembowels them, its that sick. 2) Who the F........ cares? Not only does the prosecutor does not have enough evidence but this should be at the bottom of his to do list. Imagine if Hitler was still alive today and a civilian purposely kills him, would you care more about arresting the citizen or would you care more that Hitler is dead?
Ответитьpretty shitty prosecutor if he didn’t seriously acknowledge immediately that none of those statements were admissions of guilt.
ОтветитьI wanted Clyde to win this movie. It was so pathetic he died.
ОтветитьI read that initially the production wanted Gerard Butler & Jamie Fox to play in opposite roles of what they ended up going with. That thought just seems so odd to me 😂
ОтветитьI love how Clyde goes from docile and respectful to cunning and enraged in three minutes. Gerard Butler is a fantastic actor.
Ответить300 Spartans couldn't do what this man did on this Movie 😅
ОтветитьI hate that the bad guys won in this film. But it reflects the world better.
ОтветитьThats what wrenches are for dumbass!!! Bravo sir
ОтветитьButler didnt win a academy award for this movie why?
ОтветитьOne of the best movies ever made
ОтветитьThe criminal always wins. The state.
ОтветитьHe nodded when he was questioned though. Isn’t that enough for a confession?
ОтветитьAll I can think is, "Damn, that's a nice suit." 😂
ОтветитьFox character is so dumb here. Im not a lawyer but I knew right away that nothing Clyde have said is even remotely close to something could be used in court...
ОтветитьI absolutely love the 1st 2/3's of this movie, its well paced smart writing. I just think they scuffed the last third a bit.
ОтветитьThats what wrenches are for, dumbass! 😂
ОтветитьIve missed this movie
ОтветитьI think the volume needs to be lower🙄
ОтветитьThis movie was highly entertaining, but had some serious flaws, mainly due to jamie foxx's character. They had him do a detective's work as the prosecutor. I was shouting at my tv many times like "he's not a detective, why is he there??".
It was clear they did it to give jamie foxx more screen time, but they threw logic out of the window with that decision. Also the ending sucked and made no sense either, apparently Butler's character was supposed to win but it was changed because jamie foxx insisted his character should win in the end. The writers are there for a reason, and sometimes the actors need to keep their mouths shut...
Movie was a GREAT LESSON in MANIPULATION !
ОтветитьI think this movie low key invented the red pill on an audience.
ОтветитьThat's a fancy confession room.
ОтветитьIDKK.... just spit balling here but when he said "you arranged both of those murders" he said yes first then later said you make deals with murderers so i came to make mine , i feel like that would of been pretty sufficient evidence no ?
ОтветитьIn reality considering was so respected in the CIA as a brain i doubt very much they would have ever seen court, found taken and tortured by clive to death would have been what happened without a shred of paper work and clive would have continued to work for them after therapy and time through loyalty
ОтветитьThe Scottish connection??
The resemblance to James McEvoy is startling at times ,the face.
I hated foxx's character in this movie. I wanted Butler's character to win so badly
ОтветитьThis movie is more relevant today then ever
Ответитьthe way courts work, here in Australia are exactly like this
ОтветитьFunny part is if he had just let nick walk away, he couldve exposed all of that "conjecture" in a court and more than likely been released by the jury. Would have dunked on nicks career.
ОтветитьIf Nick did his job in the beginning, none of the following events would have happened. All Clyde wanted was his day in court, winning or losing was immaterial to him. So, when you drill down on it, Nick was responsible for every death that occurred in the story.
ОтветитьThis movie was so great up until Jamie Foxx ruined the ending for his freakin ego. So dumb.
ОтветитьI really2x like ds movie. But the ending was terible
ОтветитьGreat video with low volume such a bummer
