Do you know around have many clips you had uploaded back then when you made this video?
ОтветитьCan you upload your footage that you didn't upload to Filmsupply to other stock agencies or you're obliged to work only with Filmsupply when they accept you?
Ответитьcan I upload to filmsupply and artgrid same stock footage?
Ответитьgrande Matteo!
Ответитьgood vid dude
ОтветитьSuper helpful information. Beautiful Cartier Crash btw!
ОтветитьI’ve been doing stock footage for a few years now. It was slow at first because I had no experience (and little talent) but now I am averaging almost $600 a month. I use it to upgrade equipment and for travel. I’ve yet to have any big commercial license sales. Thanks for your video which is encouraging.
Ответитьhow exactly you got client like apple for your stock footage? I would be more interested in that. though video is fine. I more interested in business/marketing of stock footage
ОтветитьGreat stuff! Can I sell the same stock footage on a different platform too? Ie I have shutterstock, can I resubmit it elsewhere too? Does shutterstock allow that?
ОтветитьI think the 6K Pro with it's ND filters is a complete camera to capture stock footage while keeping the system small and the filming easy.
Ответитьmy guy not gatekeepin ily
Ответитьwhy didnt you negotiate with apple on your payment?
ОтветитьThanks for sharing this info, Matteo! I had one question – does Filmsupply require a property release for footage that features famous buildings and landmarks? (e.g. the Eiffel Tower, Sacre Coeur, Empire State building etc) Does the footage need this release for it to be used for commercial purposes?
ОтветитьQuick question, can the footage be posted on instagram etc for personal work and also be uploaded to art grid etc?
ОтветитьHello, thanks for this video. can you give us the link of your stock footage account... to see your work..? thank you
ОтветитьDoes filmsupply hold exclusive rights to my videos ?? or I can use both platforms such as film supply and artgrid at the same time ??
ОтветитьHappy birthday and hope you enjoy you day.and thanks for every tips you’ve shared!!!
ОтветитьSuch an inspiration man, it's something I've been putting off for a while — thank you for the kick up the butt! haha
You are a legend!
Hey Matteo, awesome video and great information too! What kind of formats or codecs do you upload to these sites please? Thanks
Ответитьyes
ОтветитьMatteo. I have looked up to you for a while.. no idea why some people are choosing to comment negatively. Thanks for all your hard work on this channel, you continue to pump me up in my own career!
ОтветитьThanks for sharing, Matteo. This is a fantastic video, with the kinds of details we would all want to know! A couple of questions for ya.
1) How many clips do you have uploaded now?
2) I noticed a lot of shots of people in public, which you wouldn't have written permission from. Is there a standard for situations that don't require written permission from "talent"? Or do you just risk it if they're not predominantly featured? Same question for locations — can you pull the camera out if you’re sitting in a bar and film some quick clips, or would you need express written permission?
Hey Matteo, can you link your filmsupply profile? Just want to see the exact format you are uploading? Are you uploading miminumly edited clips? Or are they fully edited, with music and the works?
ОтветитьMatteo, I just heard some news and thought of you. Did you hear about the gyro data theyre embedding into the BRAW for post stabilization? its ridiculous man. what a game changer. Hope all is well with you.
ОтветитьWhat camera do you use for your stock footage? Especially when you travel
ОтветитьHow is this "passive income" when you are putting in the work specifically to make stock footage.
ОтветитьI also have a purchased clip in that Apple commercial. The icy river shot is mine.
ОтветитьAfter some browsing, it looks like you upload entire projects rather than clips. Is that how it works?
ОтветитьWhat watch are u wearing?
ОтветитьHello Mateo, thanks for showing your content! One question, how do you upload videos to market to Filmsupply? I went to the web but I can't find where to access as a creator and not as a client.
Thank you
Thanks Matteo - I submit to shutter stock and get loads of rejections. I feel with Shutter stock or stock images you really have to change your mindset to generic safe shots that companies can use rather than shoot what you like. Either that or I just plain suck lol
Ответитьyou don't have to cut, color, and tag clips for Filmsupply. they do that themselves, don't they?
also, are you on Artgrid? What's your experience there?
Hi Matteo, great Video, and btw that B-Roll of yours is also really high quality. Even without sound design to it it really shows out. One question: since you see the company's that buy your media, do you then write them onto your website as past clients? Or would you say that's not an option with Artgrid/Filmsupply clients?
ОтветитьDid you color grade your footage?
ОтветитьHow do you upload to film supply?
ОтветитьDid they just close the option to join film supply as you made this video?
ОтветитьGreat summary, thank you! My hearing isn’t very good—what were the names of the stock agencies you recommended?
ОтветитьI didn't know it could be that good to do. Thanks for this!!
ОтветитьGreat vid...why not do a process video of how you prepare a clip for Stock Footage ... Thanks Matteo
ОтветитьYou upload any beautiful shots you've shot and hope for the best kinda thing?
ОтветитьI make like $50 a month that gets dumped in my paypal by Pond 5, and I don't even have that many clips up. Its a fun little rush when I get those random emails saying someone purchased me media for $25
ОтветитьWhat is the website your recommending? Sorry but i cant seem to understand the pronunciation, great content otherwise!!
Ответитьdidnt even get 3 seconds in and im like "nice lighting" ha ha..
ОтветитьJesus Christ, I didn't know you could make this much with stock footage haha, I've applied to some sites to contribute!
ОтветитьThank you for sharing this Matteo, I was just looking into sites to upload cinematic footage.
ОтветитьVery nice!! That money pretty much pays for your gear.
ОтветитьWow’ this open my mind
