This isn't a good way to do an explosion, but it is a good tutorial on adding force to other objects and I learned a few things, thank you
ОтветитьThank you really much i was making a shock wave pulse, and this was what i needed!
Ответитьhello i need script who explode on impact
ОтветитьFor those still visiting this finding that their explosion feels off, its because the actual force of the explosion scales strangely depending on distance. What ended up making this work for me and applied the force equally despite distance was taking my direction vector and normalizing it with .normalize to have a magnitude of 1
Ответитьagrigatou
Ответитьit's a great tutorial and all. but.... activate windows
ОтветитьHow to get that VS code auto complete for Unity? Pls help
Ответитьi have errors
ОтветитьThank you!
ОтветитьI want to make a game in which the main character has the ability of bomb transmutation, so he can just like throw a projectile and the enemy will become a bomb, this helps a lot, thanks.
Ответитьfor me it is showing a null reference exeption on the camerashake line
ОтветитьYou deserve more subscribers
ОтветитьThanks! This explosion tutorial is very helpful!
Ответитьafter three hours of trying to do this and almost giving up on my game i shut down unity and find this video
THANK YOU MAN
JUST
THANK YOU
Not a good way to do an explosion, the force is not applied linearly depending on the distance. If it's in the field of impact it's applied with the same force regardless of distance, if it's not, no force is applied.
A much better option is point effector.
thanks you so much now I can kaboomboom
ОтветитьWhat your dont use PointEffector?
ОтветитьHey thanks for the tute.
ОтветитьThanks a lot dude, I really needed the camera shake for own indie game.

ОтветитьFantastic tutorial!! Thank you very much!
I used this in my 2D platformer game i'm working on, I wanted to create bombs which you could collect to destory rocks which would block paths, within the foreach loop I added " Destory(obj.GameObject) " and it worked perfectly!! thanks again!! <3
thanks was looking to make one of these
Ответитьthis helped me so much, but is there a way to make it explode when something touches it?
ОтветитьHmm, why can't you do it with Point effector 2D?
ОтветитьThank you.
ОтветитьThank you for this very useful tutorial!
I had a question, how to explose in the same way as the boxes, a character that we control with keys, for exemple :
I tried to detonate this bomb on my character, by adding the layer "Player", however only boxes are really explosed, and my player undergoes a slight displacement, but practically nothing compared to boxes.
Is there a function to add when the element to explode is controlled (movement), unlike an inanimate box ?
Wishing you a good day !
Bro can u please make an tutorial on the game merged like creating grid moving object into grid please
