more water is being wasted by spilling...

i still remembered the day we only got 2 gallons of water per person a day, drinking and everything else in the refugee camp, back in Thailand after we escaped from laos to thailand after the secret war in 1975.

the world produced the best scientist of all kinds to solve problems, but the government failed to listen or just do what was right instead of greed. now all that money you have, you cant drink it... now what, without water, it will be very harsh to swallow those green notes.

There is no lack of water, Politicians are corrupt, Thakkary, Deshmukh Permvir are stuffing their pockets with the money while the poor farmers die every day. River Tapi has enough water to drown the state of Maharashtra with water again and again.

How can the government do something about the lack of rain. And yet they went out and elected the same people again. Yes it was a local election but it has to start and modi party lost very little. So if they elect a non educated buffoon that's what happens

A standing committee, with the exception of superior authority over other administrative divisions of the water supply commission of India would most likely improve matters, with the sole purpose to administer fair & equal distribution of government funds and resources and put in efforts to replace treated salt water for any purpose except the consumption for need! Regulating wastage and so on... If such body of authority could be given some authority on the IRS/ird side of the problem then it will further speed things up... But honest, confident , enthusiastic personal are required to run such monitoring authority... Or else likewise majority will end up corrupted like others as well!

Proper rain storage and using the sun light treatment along with gravity and siphoning technology we can actually bring and make more water for rural places aswell! One good example was a product TATA made which ran without electricity or power but still it is restricted bcos of filter replacement and the actual need of dirty or unclean water! But it seems we even don't have that at many places!!! India is very big n also has great population! Cultures..hence on face it sounds so easy but it is very hard to cover it all...

Indoor farming is another way we shall consider! Vertical farming... Please search it...a company in Singapore has been very successful...

God bless everyone 🤟

The situation with water is only going to get worse as global warming gets worse, as more CO2 enters the atmosphere from burning of fossil fuels. But at this point burning fossil fuels is what keeps the economy moving. Not enough renewables to replace fossil fuels. We've trapped ourselves into a corner from which there is no easy way out.

I can say that this country is going to be a huge disaster. 7 largest country with 2nd largest population. what happens after 50 years there will be a 30 million increase in population. as an Indian, I can say that this country is not going to be the superpower. the govt n administration is not interested in changing things. we don't have that much manufacturing industries. agricultural land is also decreasing. corruption is increasing. spending billion for weapons that are not needed but to help to fund the corporates like reliance. unemployment is at a high peak and the rate is also increasing not only in India but worldwide.

I wonder how the government gets to get away with failing to build proper infrastructure.
Just take an example from the gulf countries. Build reservoirs, desalination plants etc.
It is heart breaking to see these people to struggle for survival this way knowing that there are solutions - it's just that the government doesn't care to do anything about it.
Absolutely shocking how the government is failing it's people and letting them suffer this way!
