Seems to be all too common with these challenges, across all the pro eaters, owners changing the rules on the fly. Scummy behaviour.

Any place offering a food challenge like this should be weighing the ingredients or it's a meaningless challenge. Did the record holder get 12lb or 13lb? Were they allowed to chipmunk it? I have no time for places that are dishonest in their challenges, but this one took the piss, even changing the rules at the end.

$100??? I bet there's no more than $20 of ingredients in there.

I just looked this challenge up and found that back in 2011/2012, when it launched, it was only 6.5lbs. And as recently as Jan 2019 it was only around 8.5/9lbs. Quite a difference compared to 8 months later.

I've lived in Georgetown for 16 years and never even heard of this challenge! Sadly, Hungry Hollow closed in April 2022.

I could have made just a big giant pile of cheese mixed in with some french fries and pork. It should he called the hillbilly challenge. It's just a ton of food I can't even imagine attempting that.

Of all the places Adams been at, this pile of food was the grossest! . . YUCK!

It is a lot of food, but I still feel that 100 dollars for 3 hamburgers, and tons of fries with gravy, is quite epensive. With taxes and service charge, thats over 10 dollars per 1 lbs of french fries.

i think the manager did them dirty, 11 pounds turns into 14 pounds, i mean $100 they have to pay is NOTHING compared to the amount of free advertisement for the business, going on to 5 million views the restaurant did not have to stoop so low.
