thanks, grate tutorial
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьHello Ben, thank you for the great video. Photoshop tells me that I cannot export an image with resolution higher than 4k (due to CUDA texture size constraints). I don' get it, since when is there a constrains like this?
I wanted to have a highres cubemap 2k x6, but can't save as my long side is over 12k pixels long. Have you had this issue?
entendi nada, e não funcionou..
ОтветитьHow are you capturing the 6 images with the Unity camera? Are you rotating the camera to the 6 different angles/surfaces and doing a screen capture? This must be easy but I'm missing something. Thank you for the series!
ОтветитьThis is the very first time I see a cube map with the 6 pictures horizontal. I only knew the "cross shaped" arrangement. Is this cross shaped legacy ?
ОтветитьHey there! How do I keep the cubemap from rotating WITH an object in the scene view. Unlike in the shader Graph the Cubemap DOES NOT behave like a reflection in the Scene view.
Ответить???????
ОтветитьHi, great video! One suggestion is to create cubemaps inside UE, using CubeRenderTarget texture and SceneCaptureCube component, with this setup you can create cubemaps using 6 textures like you showed or even easier capturing HDRIBackdrop (plugin) to cubemap. This method works for VR too and can capture a cubemap for each eye.
Ответитьthanks Ben!
ОтветитьHi, I have a question. what would be your advice for developers who want to make an fps game? where to start? or where do you start first? thank you for your answer have a nice day and much success.
ОтветитьHello Sir am beginner, please which course i have to start learning?
ОтветитьFirst off just want to say that your tutorials are very informative and interesting. Love them!
I have a question, have you tried using latlong images to create a similar effect as cubemaps? I’m a Unreal user and found that latlong images are easier to create and work with. I also noticed that Unreal imports a .hdr latlong as a cubemap but if imported as .exr it becomes a 2d texture (eventhough it’s the same image). I don’t know why that is 😅
Hi Ben! I'm curious if you ever got around doing your own version of the 'Half Life Alyx Liquid Shader'.
That shader got a LOT of attention when it was added to Half Life Alyx, and you being a shader artist I bet you've seen it too :D
This video reminded me of some of the techniques that were used in it like reflection, transmission, refraction using cubemaps!
Hey Ben! Fantastic content! I was wondering if you could possibly show us how the "custom" node works with HLSL ? Perhaps with a very basic instruction? Thanks again Ben. You've helped us all grow.
ОтветитьI’d love to see you do one of those parallax fake interior textures for building windows, which give the appearance of interior geometry that isn’t really there.
ОтветитьSorry this isn’t on the relevant video, but in your video creating rain puddles, you use a appendmany material function. And I cannot find it anywhere, can you please link me to where I can find it?— thank you so much
ОтветитьYour tutorials are a blessing.
ОтветитьI don't know how I got to this video... But nice ! ;)
ОтветитьIt is great to hear someone else is also using the "LeGaCy" version (or may i say the proper version) of photoshop. the cloud cc is embarrasing. Ill never remove my cs6 install
Ответитьhey is there any way to make pseaudo volume textures from a mesh inside ue4 there is a bp to voxelasize meshes which makes vule textures from mesh but i dont know how to get that runtime texture to static texture
ОтветитьBro please you create gun impact on water tutorial
