He was the first well educated top politician in China. He could communicate well with different opinions. He held his stands while he could listen and adjust with needed changes. His idea was to make CCP a party of representing the majority, not some classes, farmers, workers. His death represented the end of epic era and during that era, hundreds of millions of common Chinese people got out of poverty and they can have decent lives and they can see what is happening in the world. His policy might hurt some special groups like Fa Lungong badly and his action to set up firewall to filter out some information was not welcome, with all this, he still was one of the best leaders so far, if not the best. He and Mr. Deng made China to become an active member of the world village.

It is a bitter irony that a former leader of the country that gave us Zen, Taoism, Qi Gong and Acupuncture among other marvellous human achievements, to die of multiple organs failure caused by a disease left untreated, except for those toxic drugs he and many others regard to as "modern medicine" and so "better": better, clever marketing surely, alongside a death sentence?
