I totally got this and felt good until the rounding part. I would have got 28 as the answer. smh ugh I hate math so freakin much

³⁵/100 × ⁷⁸.⁹⁵/1 = 27.63

Here is a easier method

We don't need teachers when there is MR J

There's another way to make it short to calculate by hand is to change 35% into 65%. Why?

Because % it's basically on the 100's, so 100 - 35 = 65.
Doing that it just flip the percentages around from 100.
And you don't need to subtract because you already got the answer by multiple 65% and $78.95 which is $51.32

This is just the shortcut way to calculate the discount. Hope this helps.
