Ah yes, the only language where they forgot what its acronym stood for...
(it's Personal Home Page).
As a sometimes PHP dev, if you think it sucks, I invite you to use any other thing. Laravel is actually hyper-productive and effective for a number of common use cases.
ОтветитьThe good news for him is that PHP-like paradigms are starting to come back into style.
ОтветитьPhp is a good language... Have you heard of laravel? 😂 Seriously php is now just laravel and wordpress.
ОтветитьI think php stands for "poorly hacked perl" 🙂.
Ответитьforgot a semicolon 🤑
Ответитьphp is beautiful!
ОтветитьPHP is now at version 8.3. Mark my words, PHP will now become the most widely used language in the world.
Ответить"we see dollar signs all the time" :D :D :D :D
ОтветитьWell, when I only started to learn php. I thought that this language is total garbage. (And to the some point it is!). But I love how some frameworks like symfony, allows you to work with code to mitigate side effects. There are some project witch run symfony 3.4 and support php 8 witch is crazy. Even lara uses some symfony packages what else to say. Untill this will get job done it will never be dead.
ОтветитьPHP is dying. On the plus side, my legacy knowledge is becoming rarer.
ОтветитьThe truth is, PHP is not dead. It is actually pretty actively used. I use it for everything on the web, and it also doesn't seem to go anywhere.
Ответить|-o-| :>v<:
ОтветитьThis guy is cool .. cheers mate!
ОтветитьThe biggest loss of PHP documentation is that they've removed the phrase "Also note that it is your responsibility to die() if necessary".
Cowardly replaced by "it is the handler's responsibility to stop the script's execution if necessary by calling exit()". Ancients are not smiling upon us anymore...
@ThePrimeagen @ThePrimeTimeagen
ОтветитьThe fact he speaks slowly was totally purposeful
ОтветитьI love php! (Lets hide the.php extension so no one knows we use php)
ОтветитьIts the same jokes but rerecorded? Less music I guess.
Ответить"$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$teachers" is a totally valid variable is PHP! what more do you need?!
ОтветитьFun fact - Facebook was written and is still written in PHP.
Ответить8 out of 10 websites are made using pHp. 8 out 10 websites are susceptible to hacking. i'm dead 💀
ОтветитьI remember using PHP Nuke back in the day for my website, big nostalgia.
ОтветитьSome people still use IE6, some people still use machine code, like the US government.
ОтветитьBro i guess im the only one who uses pure php and a bunch of libraries instead of a full fledged framework. (PHP, MySQL, FlightPHP, Twig, RedbeanPHP, TailwindCSS, Daisy UI, Auth0, Pusher, Swoozle and some javascript on the frontend like jquery and alpinejs.)
ОтветитьThey love PHP in Japan 🎉
I got in a few fights at my first development job cause I refused to use it lol 😅😂😂
Haven't touched PHP in over 15 years. Used to make web pages that would publish database values online via PHP. Don't even remember why I chose it. Prejudice towards Java, perhaps.
ОтветитьWtf is this shit. I tried to like your excessive cut/postprocess-ing but I don’t.
Ответитьthe php programmer is the only one not trying to demolish his own profession.
ОтветитьOn this day PHP 8.3
ОтветитьIn fairness PHP makes a lot of money than other programming languages.
Ответитьa hacking programming language 🤣
ОтветитьMan, idk why people hate on php so much. It does what it does really well, and that is allowing you to manage the backend functions of each individual webpage and leaving the rest of the server logic to Apache/nginx. For most sites, this is fine and can lead to faster development times imo. I dont need all of my websites to be some massive MVC.
Also, php is still a hell of a lot better than python for web dev.
What does PHP stand for?
- Power! 😂
split split split, explode! hahahaha
ОтветитьWhat accent is this?
Ответить"Include once" 😂😂
ОтветитьAsk him Tabs or 4 spaces for indenting your code?
ОтветитьAll my local machine have .php and .py extension
ОтветитьDo you guys know which group, or website where I can find a PHP job?
ОтветитьI actually threw up in my mouth a little when he said Laravel. Fullstack? Full-on nightmare more like…
Ответить"Have you heard of Laravel?"
ОтветитьAs a former PHP dev I'm glad I never have to think, "is this function snake cased or camel cased?" again.
Ответить"Personal Home Page" - that's all you need to know.
That was the fastest 6-minute video I've ever seen.
I was a PHP 4, 5, and 6 dev back in the day. There is no "mastering" the language. Only trying. And reading the documentation for hours.
ОтветитьPHP 6 is best version!
ОтветитьSimple and powerful explanation.
Ответить😂
