All honestly, would you? I was shunned all of his life by his father and when it was his time to shine he turned Shurima into the greatest empire ever to be seen in Runeterra. He was great and people loved him. And at his greatest moment, he lost it all. His home, his family, and his people (also his life.) Then he’s revived generations from where he once was, only to not care about anything other than helping a random girl he’s never met before. If you lose all of that and still are so selfless you’ve earned your spot as emperor.
