I like your nose jewelry. Where is it from? ❤
ОтветитьThat nose bridge thing is so distracting. Also hideous. Good tutorial though.
Ответитьthank you for the colour wheel as a start!!
ОтветитьSo with hoided eyes should I look straight in a mirror to do eye-shadow or look down into one
ОтветитьHoly smokes 🤯 you just taught me so much i am always wearing bright colors that pop and every time i try to do 2 or 3 colors it always dulls it and i get so frustrated because it will be all BRIGHT AND LOUD colors so i never understood how it became muted i have never been so excited to do my makeup THANK YOU SO MUCH ALSO if i use a white base will that help colors pop?
ОтветитьGreaaaaat explanation! Thank you!
ОтветитьMine still looks like the what not to do brown. I blame the pallets and myself of course.
ОтветитьBEAUTIFUL !!
ОтветитьIt was pretty Dope dude 😳
ОтветитьInsert here mindblown emoji. I actually used to paint with acrylics a long long time ago and I take pride in my colour theory knowledge. BUT BOY AM I A NOOB IN EYESHADOW MIXING AND BEHAVIOUR. I simply avoided using super contrasting colours or any kind of multi colour eye-looks, unless using an eyeliner colour insert, simply because of the muddiness I ended up with all the damn time. Woah I can't wait to put on some eyeshadow now :D Thank you! xx
ОтветитьOmg you are stunningly beautiful 💋🤓
ОтветитьHonestly I really love the yellow blended in with the purple together
ОтветитьYour artistry is AMAZINGGG
Ответитьbuying this palettes asap🔥🔥
ОтветитьOk but here's the issue: this is not a purple and yellow eye. At the end of the blending there's barely any yellow there and it just becomes purple and orange. No problem with purple and orange together, it looks beautifull, but there's no transition to yellow.
Ответитьi know this vid isn’t recent but could you try doing these tips and tricks with nude eyeshadow colors ? 😅 thanks!!
ОтветитьThank you for actually teaching! All the beauty influencers I used to watch just try to be comedians now and only do hauls or unboxings 🙄
ОтветитьSo helpful !
ОтветитьI have a hard time blending green and brown, like a virgo look inspired in the sheglam pallete.
ОтветитьDo you have a link for your makeup brush kits
ОтветитьCould you do a video about eye shadow and how to make it like i dont know if there is some rules, darkest on thar part lighter color on that part to creat that or that effect? I see women trasnforming eye shape threw this but dont know how this work
ОтветитьNever did find the jewelry
ОтветитьI'm a transmasc who's getting back into makeup as I feel more comfortable in my body, and this video was super approachable as a beginner! Thank you!
Ответитьthgat
ОтветитьFINALLY my purple eye makeup won’t look like a bruise
Ответитьnow why do i look so goofy when i do this
ОтветитьI don't really see the yellow on your "better" side, it's mostly pink with a bit of yellow highlight. For me, this tutorial didn't quite execute the idea well. But overall helpful information.
ОтветитьI can't seem to get the color in small areas like you, it gets all.over the place and I'm sure I'm usin the same brush as you. More practice is in order..can you do turquoise and black eye look? I would love to learn this, cheers from Canada ❤
ОтветитьI use dawn on my makeup brushes but DANG!!! Those are the whitest makeup brushes I’ve ever seen. If they’re not new, I need the brush care routine.
Ответитьbeginners: remember, the blend is not going to be perfect the first time you try it and may not look good for a while, and THAT IS PERFECTLY OKAY. everybody starts somewhere and some people can get it down within a few weeks, for others it may take months or even years to perfect. i’ve been doing my own makeup for YEARS and i am still learning how to perfect the blend and i practice all the time.
ОтветитьHot
ОтветитьStunning look and really clear description! Thank you! I understood previously that I needed to create a gradient and the colour wheel but not how to to implement that in terms of placement and definitely have ended up with muddy blends and not understood why.
ОтветитьNew here. Is that really her last name? Say that 3 times fast.
I'm just as shocked
I'm latina with a super complicated pale, olive complexion that never really presented makeup colors well... Which is mostly because of my predominantly greenish-yellow undertones. Juvias place tho. The pigment you see in the pan is so rich and so true that you can be sure it's the exact same color you will get once you apply it to your skin!
Tbh JP was really the catalyst for my exploration into makeup as a hobby and a study on a more serious (but also more enjoyable!) level 🥹 like I used to get anxiety about makeup because it felt like a necessary evil that I would use to manipulate or conceal things I didn't like about my face. But makeup can also just be fun! Or therapeutic, even. I looked back at my IG and I can actually pinpoint the JP makeup look that started it all for me 4 years ago lmao 😅 It took a really fun brand to bring out that playfulness and joy in doing makeup for me instead of just feeling anxious and insecure when doing my makeup. It's been a really big issue for me since high school so yeah, I couldn't recommend giving them a chance more.
They're super freaking affordable too which is honestly sus af considering the quality of product they're selling lol. But fr, if anyone reading this is in a makeup rut and never tried JP before, dude. I'm telling you. Just give the warrior 3 palette a shot. You try l it out one time and tell me you aren't in love afterward lol. That's what hooked me and the rest is history 😩
You are absolutely brilliant! Thank you so much this has been very helpful! And can i just say short hair reallt suits you :)
ОтветитьYou're an amazing teacher.
ОтветитьNot gona lie i learned quite a few things about color. Thank you for this ! It helps me not screw up an eye shadow blend I like I did that last time lol
ОтветитьThis reached me two major things, I need more makeup brushes for my colorful eye makeup, and I need to remember the color wheel
ОтветитьI'm back!
ОтветитьThere's also a different technique where you don't let the colors mix right? I'm pretty sure I've seen someone do that before...
ОтветитьI like the "bad" side better because you can actually see the yellow.
ОтветитьI wish they would put this color wheel in every eyeshadow pallettes
ОтветитьGorgeous blending, gorgeous look! The only things is that on the "Do" side, yellow is hardly there. It's more, like, the purple and pink show. Whatever, gorge! You're makin me want short hair again. Thanks for so much info, Alex!
ОтветитьThis was super helpful thank you!!
ОтветитьBeautiful colors❤
ОтветитьSo informative, thank you ❤
ОтветитьI really hate the look in the right muddy one I always make this mistake :D. But the left one is not the purple and yellow look. its more like purple pink eyeshadow i dont think that these are the same and we cant point the left one as the correct one
ОтветитьSuper helpful thanks!
ОтветитьJuvias place is a great brand made by a woman of color with women of color in mind. The colors are so deep and vibrant so that they can show up on our darker skin tones well since unfortunately, most palettes end up ashy or not as pigmented on us. Love how you use the palette and the tutorial! I mostly only use similar colors like all red or all orange bc adding others just adds stress. This really helps.
ОтветитьPlease do more reds! I love red I just don’t know what pair with it
