How Do You Re-Tone Kitchen Cabinets?

How do you re-tone cabinets? It starts with a thorough cleaning, removing any and all contaminants. We then move into our extensive prep and coating process (in this case it took 15 coats to transition from the old honey-colored finish to this rich, deeper, medium tone). You can't rush art, and it pays to do it right. Layer upon layer of color needs to be strategically built.
