Edit Revups did come in the Le mans Sunset Orange!
ОтветитьQuestion: the engine type doesnt matter if you are doing a full rebuild with aftermarket parts? Correct. Literally the DE seems to be a more reliable block.
Ответитьsuper clean 350
Ответитьhow can you tell DE from REVUP from just looking under the hood?
ОтветитьCorrection needed. Not all 2006 Models were with Revup. I have a 2006 Automatic Transmission with a DE engine. The Revup was on Manual Transmissions.
ОтветитьTop thanks
Ответитьdoest sits that you say about HR engine. Firstly you said HR has a hood with two air intakes and after that HR has a bulge into the hood to accommodate a larger block...
or maybe I was not enough attentive?
Got 06 Revup - no problems at all with oil consumption and whatsoever. Don’t stay away from this engine, don’t listen to some stupid rumours.
ОтветитьMy revup allows me to adjust the redline up to 7900 by pressing the odometer button. Not sure if it came like that or if its because of the uprev tune.
ОтветитьIs the DE engine can be upgraded to nismo engine?
ОтветитьThat is my favorite color on the 350Z. I want those seats too!
ОтветитьMe watching this video knowing damn well I’m LS swapping my 03 👁️👄👁️
ОтветитьI’m a bit of a noob here. So I own a 2004 350z DE. I have been thinking about either doing a motor swap for the Z, or just mod it with full bolt on’s and keep it N/A. My thing is, I definitely wanna crack over 300hp
Ответитьwhat year is ur z?
Ответитьnow i'm considering a 350z with the vqHR instead of the 370z nismo. man price gap is sooo wide!
ОтветитьMe and my dad bought a DE manual with 71000 miles in 2019. It’s been purely used as a drift car for the track and is now on 74000 miles. I know they seem to be a hit or miss but if you find one that’s had decent owners they will genuinely run forever. Them 3000 miles we put on have been spent in second/third gear banging of the rev limit. Engine it’s self has been bullet proof and nothing has broke. Alls we do is oil and filter change every 2 to 3 track days and just regular maintenance. I will say tho, every person I’ve met with a de 350z needs synchros replacing in the gearbox 😭 recently got a 08 HR manual and I’ve got to say, you really appreciate the extra 1k revs and all the internal changes Nissan done when you drive both
ОтветитьThe de is most reliable but the hr is the best stay away from the rev up
ОтветитьCar is sexy Ngl thanks for the info
ОтветитьHow is the HR on oil?
ОтветитьNice haircut...NOT!
ОтветитьNm of torque 🤡🤡🤡
Ответить"That is fuckin juicy!"
I'm dead yo! 😂🤣😂🤣💀
I just purchased a 350z
ОтветитьWhat engines can you put in a 2004 350Z Nissan? Does it have to be a 2004 engine or can it be newer? Thanks...!!!
ОтветитьGreat vid mate.
ОтветитьLove the color of your Z!
ОтветитьThanks for the video!
ОтветитьI love that color! Your car looks awesome!
ОтветитьWhat headlights are that?
ОтветитьIdk I haven’t gotten any issues with my rev up over all I like it
Ответить1 year later and this video came in super useful. Thank you for the comparison and bullet points on each version!
ОтветитьOh wow, somebody with a Aussie or British accent, that doesn't say Hate-tch for the letter H... That's a first. Nope I stand corrected later in the video. :/
ОтветитьWhat headlights are those? They look so nice!
ОтветитьWho ever is watching this vid i like it but you have wrong info hr are way batter in comparison and the interior is almost the exact same other than a button or 2 if u want something cheap and less reliable but also fun get a de but if u want a reliable and maybe 25% more power go with an hr
ОтветитьMy DE has been rebuilt. 150,000 on the clock. Bought it this way with some minor mods internally. Seems bullet proof and runs very smooth without a bit of oil consumption. It's a roadster BTW... Automatic... Don't talk shit, I happen to love it.
ОтветитьWhat kind of spoiler is that?
ОтветитьI know the auto 06 year had the DE as well. Non rev up
ОтветитьAnyone else currently own a revup and want to die?😐
Ответитьbouta get a HR
Ответитьwhat headlights are those man?
ОтветитьHELLO I’m a DE owner trust me guys get the DE or HR don’t get the rev up....trust me ITS THE MOST UNRELIABLE ENGINE FOR THE 350z .....Get the DE it’s cheaper easier to mod and with some simple mods you can then get a Up Rev tune by Z1 Motorsports and pretty much have a better DE up rev
ОтветитьSomething that wasnt mentioned in this video was that the DE and DE Rev-ups didnt use SAE standards to measure the power of their cars unlike the Hr and Vhr models. So the Hr doesnt only making “6” hp more than a Rev-up which most people think lol but in reality the Hr makes about 30-35 whp more than the DE models and dyno at around 265-275 whp stock, whereas DE’s only about 230-240 whp. The Hr responds much better to after market mods and you can break 300whp easily with legit only 3” Admin intakes or UPT, and Exhaust. A DE thats FBO E-85 and even cammed would still have trouble breaking 300whp. And DE’s make more Peak Torque than Hr but theirs a reason why they never pull ahead from low rolls is because the Hr’s torque curve is much more evenly spread out compared to the DE making all its torque at a certain rpm range while the Hr makes it across the entire Torque curve
ОтветитьCan I convert de engine to revup... I have blown revup
ОтветитьHR all day, not really much of a comparison
ОтветитьNEEEDED this video im at a conflict with installing the de or hr in my auto project car right now
ОтветитьI have the HR engine in my g35 I love it ..it's a very powerful 3.5 ..
ОтветитьI’m in Canada and have a 06 rev up in the same color as your car! Amazing color especially in the sunlight. Ig- three50zee
Ответитьwheres the wing from and how did you paint match it?
Ответить
