Special feature of the Pathfinder - 6,000lbs of towing capacity. This is the reason I bought it over the competition.

Forget highlander & pilot pathfinder competes with Palisade. Very luxurious starting t theSL, but I love the rock creek it one of the fastest in the segment even with Toyo tires at6.7 to 60 add premium you got 60 in 6.3! And get 26.1 mpg according to motorweek👍🏽

Nissan had switched to a new technology borrowed from Ford: Wire Transfer Plasma coating. Instead of inserting steel sleeves in aluminum v8 block they plasma coat the cylinders from inside. Do they use the same method with this v6 block? Thank you.

I have a 2023 Platinum Pathfinder with all the add-ons, and I really like it. I really appreciate how the Pathfinder handles lane departure. Other vehicles I've own(ed), and test drove in this segment apply minor steering corrections to re-center the vehicle back into the lane, which (to me) is very annoying. This is the first vehicle I've driven that applies light braking to opposite rear wheel when departing a lane, causing the vehicle to naturally re-center itself back into the lane without jerking the steering wheel. This subtle, yet effective feature is never mentioned in any reviews.

Things Nissan could improve upon: They should include USB power in the center console. They need updated infotainment software. I use Apple CarPlay 99% of the time, so this isn’t all that bothersome; however, this is same UI that my previous 2016 Murano had. The power folding mirrors aren’t all that useful, mainly because they’re not integrated with the vehicle’s computer – so they can’t automatically fold in when the car is parked. They can only be folded by the press of a button, so pretty much only useful during a carwash. The steering assist is decent; however, I have noticed sometimes it tends to pull you closer to the yellow line. I’m sure this is just software calibrations and/or training models, so this could be corrected with updates. Last observation, I wish the steering wheel sensor was capacitive and not torque, but I also realize this adds cost.

All things considered; I would absolutely recommend the newer model Nissan Pathfinder. I also have a 2021 X5, and this Pathfinder literally has almost every feature you could find in the top-of-the-line luxury vehicles, plus even a few extra – they’re just not as refined.

Great review as always.

Why does it feel like the Outlander and the Pathfinder looks alot similar interior and design as well.

Beautiful car, I would wish gas mileage would be so much better or have a Hybrid version.

If you want a Platinum level and want everything is like 54k😢, base model starts at 43k.

I've bought multiple Nissan vehicles, from the first 2004 Pathfinder Armada , 2009 Murano, (2013 Juke, 2014 Rogue for my girls) traded my old Armada for the newly redesigned, the very powerful 2017 Nissan Armada SL (Gas Guzzler) which glide like an airplane on freeways. Also bought (2) newly redesigned 2021 Rogue SL (for my girls) which they love, and now I am looking at trading my 2017 Armada (Mr. Gas Guzzler) for the 2024 Pathfinder Platinum 4WD. The only problem I ever ran into with Nissan was with the 2004 Armada which had a faulty design braking pressure issue. and the 2017 Armada 7 yr batteries that needed replacing twice in three years time. Nissan Dealership Techs diagnosed/tested the batteries they had in stock and discovered that the whole batch of the Nissan Armada/Trucks batteries were actually bad or defective. New batch re-ordered, battery replaced at no cost, problem solved. The 2 small Nissan issues I've mentioned are nothing compare to the beating I got from my first car (Buick LeSaber) and my second new car (Chevy Monte Carlo Landau) which did everything bad you think can of happening to you: died in the middle of rush hour traffic, headlights stop working for no apparent reason, left stranded in snow/sleet storm hours away from home after the last Train/Bus have already left, interior clothe headliner decided to just fall off and cover over your head doing 65 MPH on NJ Turnpike, etc, etc, etc. too many to list. Nissan fan forever 🤩

Thank you for great and thorough reviews. What I would really love to see is someone to care about the second pilot and its seat 😃 While the driver's chair is important, it is also important to know features of the second pilot chair aka front passenger. For example, Platinum here should have 4-way lumbar support which is quite a feature I think.

Thanks for featuring the Pathfinder, even with not a lot of changes for 24. I drive the 21 Rogue, it was the only CUV I could test drive and find at the end of 2021, and got it with a dealer upcharge that was not as painful as the other brands. I love my Rogue! I do miss the V6 as a previous Highlander owner, and can't wait to see how this version of the Pathfinder evolves by the time I will be ready to upgrade in a few years! Thanks again for the insight and excellent review!

Nissan Pathfinder is it worth buying or leasing. I leased a 2023 Pathfinder found out while driving that there a safety hazard. After pick up at dealer on July 6, 2023 guess what I had to returned it to dealer service center which is being there now since August 25, 2023. Nissan had not done anything to get back at me on what is being done to repair problem. The vehicle has no power under the hood when needed to pass a vehicle, that I almost was rear ended trying to do so. If you floor the gas pedal is worse trying to stop it on the highway or local driving. Worse when you are trying to enter from entrance ramp on to flow of traffic that I almost got hit from behind. The pro pilot system ; stop/ start features even when in the off mode. Is creepy cause as you drive you feel that in the background the system is still controlling by slowing it & picking up speed even when you want to stop. Transmission jerks also engine hesitation st all speeds. Before you buy check the Nissan on line owner forums; on Facebook do your research. I will be contacting a lemon law lawyer if by next week Nissan has not done anything with my leased Pathfinder.😢

Platinum level with prop rod for hood, 2 way lumbar adjust for driver, no maintenance included, 5 year powertrain warranty, 9 inch entertainment screen. Good grief, Hyundai Palisade and Kia Telluride are so much better for around the same price.

I’m 6’0 and 260 pounds. I can fit comfortably in the third row. Last year I took out an early 2023 pathfinder platinum out for a test drive and again this year and I am still planning on getting a pathfinder in the next few months. I have the money to buy it outright, my family just moved across Canada and I just need a stable job first instead of temp work, than I will be signing on the dotted line.

I leased two Nissan Rogue...a 2017 & 2020. Nissan cars are cheaply build. After two years, both Rogues required a new battery and tires.

Recently, I decided to lease a 2023 Chevy Equinox...I love it! Comparing both vehicles, the Equinox is a nicer and better quality vehicle.
