If you have a mod installed in the folder, try to see which mod is crashing. If you find one, remove it from the folder and try installing a new or old version of it, at least that worked with my launcher.

Did not work couln't find old versions of mine Ive tried everything, this sucks, whats funny is my old computer works fine

I tried this out since forge mods didn't work for me at all and it actually worked! I'm honestly really happy since I could play Forge on my Laptop but not my computer and was so confused. I'm glad to have an answer for the confusion now

I've tried finding an old version of my Graphics Driver but I couldn't find it- (I'm on Laptop) so I'm probably gonna try a different launcher (ATLauncher- I've heard it works fine on anything especially crappy computers like mine) and if that fails I'm coming back to this

Looking at my drivers and instead of installing a older version it looked like my computer didn't see the new driver update so I installed that one.

i just factory reset my pc and the problem was solved. i downloaded “error 422” version which had me download another version of Java and a whole other Java launcher, that’s probably what messed it up.

HOW DO I GET TO ME GRAPHICS CARD???

i tried everything. i have radeon rx550/550 series amd graphic cards, i tried every soultion to fix the exit code 1, i tried changing the driver,changing the java(jdk 17) , unistalling the minecraft again,again and again, still nothing changes, its been 2 month. im about to give up

I am an unfortunate one as my Laptop only gives me two options, the current one or the older one which neither of them work, I am unable to do much now except hope that I get lucky one day and manage to find out the problem

omg my guy. thank you so freaking much. i had to change my graphic driver to a older one and it worked. i searched up so many videos and nothing. i did all the steps you did and nothing so when you told me its the graphics card and told me what to do i did it and it worked. i been at this thing for a couple of hours trying to find help but nothing. i love you man much love and respect go to you for helping me

My driver was the "old" one you showed, I'm still lost on what to do, will leave an update if I can find out what to do
EDIT: I updated my driver to version 31.0.21001.45002 and it worked, it's newer but yeah, worked on my RX 580
