yea downloaded one em website that gives you it is called bestrobotdetector .com or something like that it lures u in by a are you a robit thing and once u finish it downloads it, its just advertisitments so yea not very malicous but annoying (space is to get rid of link)

Soo when i tried getting some shaders for minecraft after a while when I tried searching stuff up on chrome it takes me to bing. Is this the same hijacker problem?

I had this in an old mac! that mac is gone, but im using the same chrome account. Everytime I turn on sync it comes! I turned off a bunch of stuff, so I don't notice it, but I find it while searching in my PC with MalwareBytes. And, it keeps slowing my pc and stuff. For now, I turned off sync. Let me know if there is anyway I can turn back on sync without it (like get rid of it from sync)

I have two infected partitions on to HDDs, that even writing zeros does not remove
Chrome for OS-10.9 Mavericks only
Re infects those two every few days
Even when completely removed
No other drives with Mac OS are so afflicted..
On other Macs, here
Just drive partitions with my Mac Mini
So far..
I'm thinking infected boot blocks...
Instead of 70Kb ones sees 256Kb on the infected partitions
AFTER writing zeros!
