how to REALLY know if you're overranked on osu

If you can’t play every type of a star difficulty and farm on something harder (ex : can’t play every 4* and farm on high 5* your are overranked) than this is being overranked
( this is not precise or really serious don’t take it too seriously)

I stopped caring for rank once I decayed into 6 digits from 5. I now enjoy 7* maps with 80-90% acc at 250K rank. Play the game, don't play for pp

I'm ranked 726k missed the opportunity to be on 727k so i will leave. And even missed the opportunity to get a 727 overall pp. I was on 726 and was trying so hard just to increase my pp by 1 but it shot up by at least by 10 at least.

Lmao, Over ranking is the dumbest sounding terminology. The PP system tries to measure your maximum potential at any time so It literally doesn't make sense to say that your rank (pp) is higher than your maximum potential.

Wait this are you saying this guy is not overrank i think he is a ss farmers means that you can t make pp on hard maps so you farm low stars maps + when you see that all his most played beatmaps are farm tell me why if i am wrong but i do think this guy is overrank

Your rank is your rank
Period.
Game doesn't try to measure some crazy combination of all skills and balance them correctly

A big part of your rank is the motivation to farm PP maps, if someone farms more than you and they're higher rank, they are higher rank

I think the best way to tell if you are overranked is to look at your overall graph. Does it trend up? That means you are playing and getting better and the scores you are setting scores accurately reflect your improvement. If you are staying the same or decaying (Like me PAIN) then you probably farmed some scores that don't necessary reflect how good you are at the game, and you can't match those scores and get hardstuck.

If you lose ranks on a score thats only about 10 or so less PP than your best, you are over ranked lol
