Hi, I have LCH, a rare cancer and I am type 1 diabetic. I have all the signs of diabetes insipidus , outside of weight loss. I started a new chemo and was told I could not take this if I had diabetes insipidus. My diabetic Dr. ran a blood test, said I didn't have it and refuses to do any other test. Can it be ruled out by a blood test?

I can not regulate my body temperature, it always runs extremely low. I do not eat much because my stomach hurts at all times. I get up 3-4 times a night to go potty and always have to have a water or ice tea with me because I am always thirsty. Also, my liver has had problems for but they can not figure out why. Should I ask for a second opinion or could they have ruled it out via the blood test?

Noticed an hormone unbalance around the age of 60, hot flashes, cold hands and feet, low pressure, frequent muscle cramps and frequent urination.
Low pressure compensated with licorice, cramps by means of supplemented minerals, could not fix the frequent urination, until I realized that drinking one beer in the evening, lowered the urination to only one per night!, given the alcohol, you would have expected exactly the opposite.
It turned out that the hop contained in the beer, stimulates the secretion of ADH, since then, I started drinking free alcohol beers and hop infusions with noticeable results.
Moved from 10 micturition per day (24 hours) to 7/8 (only one per night), average water intake per day about 2.2 liters, excretion about the same or slightly more, worth to try

i will start with im 480-490 pounds depending on thirst
i am drinking close to 5 gallons of water a day
my mouth is always dry to the point it feels like im eating cotton and actually prevents me from talking till i drink something
i have to pee every 30-60 min and when i feel it i have exactly 2 min to get to a place to pee or i will start leaking
i have had 5 visits to the doctor 2 blood tests and a urine test never was called about the results so i called and they sent me the raw data like im supposed to know what it means
my A1C was 5.1
the metabolic panel was nonsense to me
i have 0 energy
cant sleep because of the need to pee every 45 min wile sleeping

one doctor just told me i need to lose weight and said that's the root of all my problems
and i agree but i cant do anything without getting some relief and i feel like they don't care at all

the other doctor i went to told me that i need to drink less and i will pee less like that was a solution he said "what goes in must come out"

how does a guy get some help

This helped my family members understand my insatiable need for water. My pituitary gland was removed along with a brain tumor when I was 3 years old.

Praying God’s help and healing for everyone impacted by DI. May God’s compassion shine on you and your family members. Stay hopeful. I too ❤
