Since 2020 it is much easier to form Westphalia. I did it playing as Aachen. I guess it is all about Empereor DLC. But it is funt to play as them now.

Honestly I'm pretty interested how this list would look now, since after the recent updates Australia, Westphalia and Germany would probably not be on the list anymore and Iceland along with the HRE would probably be lower on the list since they actually have really nice ideas now

I know in my game (i'm much newer to EU4, i started playing less than a year ago with the release of some DLC associated with African nations), the HRE as a nation doesn't lose its army, the regiments of the HRE subjects are folded into your own. I had my army nicely and neatly organized and suddenly I have a metric shit ton of unit blips on my screen to the point that it's blocking my view of the nation. Its also worth noting that I have no patience and so I usually use console commands to speed things up a bit.

I was playing a swedish game once and saw greece farm as the result of the ottomans getting Russiaed, and it was at about the same time that I formed scandinavia making for a doubble whamey of awfulness

shan is kinda useful because if you ally all shan cultured nations you can essentially form it just through the mission

#8 Westphalia: I actually formed it as Cleves, after a few conquests. And actually ended up as leader of a PU with France (which is hard to control, however, due to Westphalia being so much smaller than France).

I really like this game but i dont understand it at all. I mean its similar like Crusader Kings 2 but with a lot of unexplained options. Like how i increase money income, how i increase man power, how i form alliance, what is meaning of core province. Its so complicated like it makes game boring and i really like it more than Crusader Kings because there game ends at some year and you cant continue. But i mean i like this EU4 but a lot of unezplained it make me boring after 30 min of playing. They need to make Knights of Honor 2 and make it simple like in 1 u choose country u know every single thing not like in EU4 milion options i needed like 30 min to realise i cant declare war because my heir is under 15 years old. And at end my whole point is that this game is awesome this whole concept of strategy conquer and countries, but it have a lot of unexplained things and on official tutorial in game they dont explain anything.. I really hope they release Knights of Honor 2 because KoH 1 is masterpiece better than this EU4 and CK2 togetherc:)

Well the HRE is actually pretty overpowered as a mechanic to achieve world conquerer without having to manually cut through your vassal swarm...

about Westphalia - you need to play as Frankfurt cuz it has missions about forming Westphalia.

In one Castile game greece somehow appeared on Cyprus before being re-annexed by the ottomons. I think that there were greek rebels on Cyprus and the ottomans were too busy having their navy shitstomped by me to take them down.

The AI always forms Scandinavia if they are able. :/

I do find it funny that this is basically a list of nations that got a hard rework in 1.30 plus 2 worthless Scandinavian nations that should never exist...

Checkmate Alzabo, Westphalia now has one of the best idea sets in Germany and you can stack idea cost modifiers on them to get ideas for 150 mana.

I come from the future to say that some of these countries already have their own missions and content in the 1.30 update
