I have a problem no clan leader wants to join me I have 88 relation I wiped out battania they are very poor and have no fiefs jet they still tell me theyre satisfied with their current lord. Could this be caused by a mod or a bug? Or mabye im just missing something

Tip, right click them, check of they are a lord or a vassal on their own encyclopedia page, vassals should (unless they dont like you or love their liege too much) be able to start the convo
(so you dont have to check their clan specificly)

I can't see the option to recruit prisoners clan leaders... Do I have to wait a bit after capturing them ?

They cost a quarter million to recruit though….unless you got millions stashed, a mod or 800 hrs of saved money from constant war it’s expensive.

I only just knew this today after looking for the last 24 hours.

NO ONE ELSE has made a simple point of this recruitment method online..

Im on Console, I didn't know you could send messenger to other clans!

Meanwhile there is a send messenger mod on his screen that he can use instead to find anywhere at any time, and do the same thing without having to capture them........ Just saying

For 300k gold is more cheap to make vassals from your companions by giving then some castles just because their loyalty will be 100

Be sure to improve relation with them first, like with capture and release a bunch. While I had one leave regardless of almost max relations, I think it helps in keeping them.

Does the AI value castles, poor towns and prosperous ones equally, or is income what makes one content or unhappy?

I think it's easier to have mostly major clans with multiple armies, they can better run and protect their assets. But a pain if they would leave, so best make them happy. Bartering and giving them excess food and horses often might be nice.
The small clans I do want are former companions, possibly married to (grand)daughters for roleplaying reasons.

I'm gonna cheese or cheat my way to 300 trade, just to be able to swap fiefs around. Preferably I'll want my imperial ones run by an imperial clan and the Battanian one by a Battanian etc, but fiefs should at least be somewhat close together.
This also allows one to buy a bad fief, fix it and sell it back.

Clan list, filter for zero fiefs rinse and repeat

how is this? cause im doing the same steps and that option is not showing up and in the party tab it says cannot recruit lord prisioners... maybe it only works with the own kingdom? cause im in the vlandia one

Yeah, I've been doing that for a few weeks :)
You still need to be loaded enough to recruit them, but it's indeed a great way of doing it. Having to chase them all over the map is just so tiresome. Especially when you're at war with them, they're faster than you and you have to trap them into a corner...
Another good way of doing it is to wait near a village that tends to get raided a lot and use it as bait so you can then use the disorganized penalty to catch up with them before they can flee :)

It's doesn't seem possible for me to beat the main quests by buying the empire cities. It seems fractions want 8.8 million denars for cities of the same culture as the kingdom. But vlandians took lageta then the costs was only 800k.
