"If you no longer go for a gap that exists, you are no longer a racing driver" - unfortunately this is taken way out of context by people who don't race. If you simply go for every gap then you would soon crash out of every race. In racing you have to have a measured approach, you have to time your overtaking, NOT simply going for every gap! This is similar to Colin Mcrae's approach of "If in doubt, flat out" which cost him at least 1 rally championship if not 2.....

70'80'90's. , drivers need to make hard weight sport to be able to drive a F1 car so hard to drive, no assisted steering , no had support , no halo .... now , drivers need to play " playstation " to be competitive and have a developed car beyond others ... too easy compare to those years ...

Senna needed the likes of Prost...otherwise he would just race himself..he was amazing when he was the underdog or behind,the best of his era,the lap in monaco with the mp4/4 was just sheer poetry and in the wet at donnington he gave the crowds a spectacle.

Watching f1 from those era I believe senna never really get the better of Prost, at the end prost always won the championship even on ferrari

I loved the Senna / Prost / Mansell years probably the greatest ever in F1 but Senna can't claim it was only Post complaining he did his fair share.

Also we should remember exciting as he was Senna drove pretty dangerously sometimes.

I just wish F1 was as competitive now and the drivers had such charisma though....now they are just company spokesmen driving cars.
