How to Disable Updates in Mozilla Firefox - Configuring Automatic Updates

1. Open the Firefox app.
2. Click on ☰ in the upper-left corner of the screen.
3. Click on Setting or Options
4. Click on General. It's on the menu on the left side of the window.
5. Drop Down and go to #firefox update
6. Select a "Firefox updates" setting. Click on the radio button next to one of the following:
7."Check for updates, but let you choose whether to install them"
8. Click Check Box. Use a background service to install updates
9. Close the tab by clicking on "x" next to the tab for "Options". Your update settings are now configured.
