My pawns cant seem to actually start making the mechs even though i have all the components (mechframe armor, mechframe shield generator x2 etc.) why?

They said the mechanoids would be the end of us little dud they know that we created something far stronger.... metal gear, I mech suits.

Ahh, I knew you would review this mod - I have it in my current game but have yet to tech up to them. So it is good to see what I am headed towards. Between this and PLA-Steel for trucks and stuff, the age of vehicles has finally arrived for Rimworld. Move over donkeys, caravaning got metal.
