this cursed mesh from revit is crap, I try to import obj and it doesn't enable the faces to align the block, autodesk just needed to solve this problem of the geometries that would be top.

what about exporting to .FBX or link the model onto Revit directly, not to go through this process?
I read about it in Autodesk tutorial itself. Perhaps, you have better explaination.
Thanks for sharing.

Hey, Loved this video! I'm trying to do things just as you did in this video! But i keep getting an error on Revit saying
"Revit cannot import some of the geometry. This result can be caused by various issues with the source file. Adjust the geometry in the file and try the import process again."

This is happening when I am trying to insert the CAD file to revit.

Have you ever had this problem?

Great videos! I’m an Architect and starting to use Revit and wanted to know which laptop you’d recommend for great performance, accessibility and lightweight portability for site meetings, client presentations and measured surveys? I was looking between Dell 13inch or Lenovo X1 yoga(portable and 2-in-1) or Lenovo P1 workstation. Or any other you’d recommend? Do I also need a high discrete graphics card or would integrated 620 be sufficient for revit rendering software or in cloud? At the moment my work is small scale residential design and extensions only. Thanx

Make the video on 'Revit to 3Ds max Export' for beginners. We know, Revit rendering and walkthrough is little inappropriate. So, I want to use 3Ds max just for rendering and Animation. Please it's very important for me...Hope you will upload soon...Thanks..!! Also tell us about which one suitable for Rendering, '3Ds Max or Lumion' for Revit exported file.

hello sir. i really appreciate Ur effort for making these videos particularly for students please make a detailed video about working on sloped site i.e site with lot of steep contours. like start from how to make required site layout with exact approach roads to finishing. my problem is that road shown in sub-region is not able to show road path like how it is possible with building pad. there are many other doubts and im sure u vl get gud views and response for this video because many of the architecture students are facing issues with designing on contour site that too in revit.

You can do wot u did ... all in max ... just make the model elements materials to be BY LAYER and if you wanna get rid of the mesh edges ... convert each model element in MAX to EDITABLE MESH & under the MODIFY TAB go into the EDGE Sublevel & select all edges & scroll down to Edge visibility & choose INVISIBLE ... now u can import MAX models into revit change materials form object styles & even have amazing elevations and sections with clean edges ... :) enjoy. without faking it! :D try it.
