Integration by completing the square | MIT 18.01SC Single Variable Calculus, Fall 2010

trig substitution

As a indian i can conform that i studied how to do that integral in high school 😅😅

You dont have to use trig sub, once u get the integral into its "completed square form", it is actually a difference of squares. (x-4)^2 - (√15)^2. You can factor that and solve using partial fractions. Seems way more convenient.
