People always says that Calamity is like whole new game while Thorium is DLC but honestly, I kind of disagree. May be I played with Calamity a bit too much but imo it fits Terraria better than Thorium which has... I dunno, plastic, cartoonish feel to it, uncanny valley if you will - like it "tries" to fit into Terraria but falls just a bit short.
