I find it a bit strange they would not think about azeroths soul and that the sword was aimed at her. I mean that was the reason the legion looked for azeroth. And taking Shadowlands, it makes sense the jailer manipulated the legion (or the dreatlords that is) to get a world soul. The last one that is known of.

edit: only reason I thought abt that was cuz of the stance Anduin took when he drew his sword, which reminded me of Arthas. I only know Arthas had that stance so it'd be cool if he played a split personality role or we get more features from Arthas through Anduin.

gonna admit, this pulled me back after 2 years of no wow... i bought the expansion, just the basic with a month of time so we'll see how long it lasts before i hop back to ffxiv

Thank you so much for not making fun of Anduin's emotional responses. I've seen a couple of reactors who have and it was upsetting.

I used to pick him up to escort through Stormwind during Cataclysm every time I was there, so he holds a special place in my heart. I kind of feel like I raised that kid.

I love how Anduin's theme runs through this cinematic. It's one of my favorite pieces of music from the game. I'm kind of intrigued by the final music played when Sargaras' sword was revealed. It reminded me of the music playing at the beginning of Warbringers - Azshara.

The biggest thing i loved about this cinematic has to be the shot of Anduin sword extended in the same pose as Arthas, the only difference being Arthas was unwavering and Anduin can almost not even keep his hand from dropping dropping the blade. Its such a small thing in the overall cinematic but it really sells just how messed up Anduin is from what happened to him in shadowlands and they didn't just pull the he was gone for a long time and is now ok bs that they sort of did with Thrall when Saurfang went to him.

You can tell how good these cinematics are when you didn't play Shadowlands at all and I still got emotional seeing Anduin all messed up. It also raised a lot of questions (for me) like wtf happened to daddy Anduin? I researched and heard SL was not great and a lot of people weren't happy with what they did to Anduin.

It might have been worth it though to put a beloved character in this severe depressed emotional state. When Green Jesus shows up and kind of snaps him out it got me excited. I love emotional story telling and I honestly am looking forward to Anduin going on this journey. I just hope he KEEPS HIS BEARD. Fire.

As someone who was itty bitty when WoW came out, growing up with the game and in turn growing up with Anduin has made him such an important character to me, so excited to see more of him again!

New Anduin kinda reminds me of Aaron Paul (Breaking Bad) or Paul Walker (Fast and Furious)

if i had to guess the damage that was done to the world soul has split it in 2 and the voice they are hearing is the "good" side trying to give a warning about its other half coming to life.

As someone that worked with a lot of vets, and post trauma/mental health dealing with various types of PTSD, the way the portrayed Anduin ptsd, was pretty spot on.
