Ive been trying to get better at Pyke and its brutal. I learned a lot in this video, and its basically "get faster" and a more bare bone build. Lots of emphasis on not wasting time. Feel like taking off the training wheels off a bike, any mistake makes you fall down but you get much more agressive.

Duskblade helps with 1 auto slowing down enemy for guarantee while prowlers helps against people with mobility and sometimes cheese your E.

From what I understand, tempo is about two things: Time and value. To play “on tempo” is to be consistently doing whatever will produce the highest value in the shortest amount of time. It’s about always making the highest value choice at ever moment. This requires deeper game knowledge and critical thinking. It’s why you don’t wait to have full mana at fountain and instead you rush out to try and catch a team fight. Because getting an assist or kill will generate more value than having waited for full.The best way to not stay on tempo is to waste time and be inefficient. For a early assassin champ like Pyke, if you are not consistent in making early high value plays, you will fall of hard in the mid and late game. So tempo is extra important. Playing Pyke on tempo means never stopping and playing like you just smoked some crack.

you know you can put your settings so that you normally quick cast, but if you hold shift, you get indicator? =) It gives you the option to chose at any given moment
