Damn this was nice! Really don't get that low rating. Sure, there are a few weak spots, but overall awesome!

I watched for about 20 minutes and was so confused by all of the pseudoscientific double talk, flashing lights, and speed talking that I had had enough. It's supposed to take place "at the turn of the 23 century", but I like to know the year. Was that "turn" going from the 22nd to 23rd or 23rd to 24th centuries? Still not an excuse for a confusing plot. Apparently, it's another space rescue type of sci-fi film involving a remote mining facility where everyone became infected with a virus that turns them into homicidal zombies. Also some mumbo jumbo about a shipment of something that can explode if it's sent back to Earth's atmosphere and the shipment must be stopped by the rescue team. I think if they had slowed the pace down, got rid of the speed talking, and made the film shorter it would have been better.

Okay, I decided to take another look at this film and have changed my opinion of it. I rewatched the first 20 minutes and tried to understand it better. By the time you are about 45 minutes into it, you will understand what is happening, more or less.

Apparently, the people who first "slipstreamed" out to that "rock" called "Infini" that they are doing the mining on found a sort of "primieval ooze" on it. Yes, it can be used as a fuel, but it has another VERY negative effect. Contact with it turns one, within minutes in most cases, into a raving, paranoid, homicidal/suicidal maniac. A guy named Wit Carmichael (played well by actor Daniel MacPherson) was slipstreamed ahead of schedule up to Infini and, due to a "time dillation" effect, has spent a week there watching the others there kill each other while he hid out in a medical bay with its own power supply. A new rescue team arrives to extract him and prevent a shipment of the dangerous ooze from being sent back to Earth which could turn all animal life on it into a real mess. Anyway, all the new arrivals eventually get killed and at that point you think the story is over.

Nope. Something VERY weird happens that changes everything at the end and I don't want to give it away for anyone who hasn't seen this flick yet. It will have you scratching your head and trying to interpret the meaning of the ending.

This movie sort of reminds me of Zoom only with a lot more emotionalism, violence, and philosophy in it. Although I still feel the film is too long, I think it will appeal to many so I will say that now, after reconsideration, I can recommend it.

Looks decent enough to be qualify as a sci-fi movie, rather than those that takes place on earth trying to save budget and creativity. Good or bad, I look forward to see it!

Sure its a mash up of every sci-fi quasi horror movie you have seen before, and sure it would be an exaggeration to call this movie original...but i thoroughly enjoyed it and the ending is an unexpected twist, its a good watch, 2 hours not wasted.
