Under the baby was an assault rifle? Odd.....looked like a 12 gauge mossberg to me man...
ОтветитьSoon as he said he Policed Newark, I knew I could trust his word cause we got hella fugitives out here lol
ОтветитьTime to destroy this guy's commentary. Hi I'm mike. 19 year peace officer. From intern to chief of police. Typing on my phone so sorry about text.
1: salt, protocol???? Bahaha protocol can be different everywhere. Even the next town over can be different .
2: no cage? Are you kidding? Do you how many hundreds of violent dangerous suspects I've transported with no cage? Omg sooo many. Suck it up. 😅
3: unmarked car? Bro. Not everyone has the budget of NYPD who is probably the best funded in the western hemisphere (and still cries about budget.)
4: weapon on the right? 😕 Reality is if your gun is on the right, commonly taser is on the left. Industry wide do to a woman tried to take someone but accidentally shot them.
5: not going to say anything about that 2" spread on the taser homeboy? Ok that's cool.
6: breaking bad exposing a witness. Idk if I'd keep him out of the car, but yeah this is normal.
7: only 2 agents to arrest one man rarely known to have a gun... 100% likely. The truth is 80% of police departments in the USA are small. Like 10 or less people. Give or take. Some are litterally a chief and one officer. So yeah. 99% of arrests I have done were alone. Including involving warrant arrests and gun arrest. That is reality. You do have mutual aid, but ur arrest is rarely their priority.
8: responding to a deserted area. I got to be honest it is pretty common to not pursue suspects into the woods because it's so easy to lose them or get ambushed. But honestly out in the open desert where you can probably See For Miles and most cases I would totally Chase someone out there.
9: on the felony arrest. You absolutely can move in on hands in the air. They should have done a tactical L so a cover officer can watch his hands. He is right that prone is better.
10: the fugitive. Saying him turning around was cause for deadly force. Bro. This is why people don't like cops and don't trust people from blue states. Turning around when you suddenly hear a voice is a very natural reaction. You are surprised and you react instinctively to figure out who is talking to you. Yes he totally turn around with a gun in his hand and could have been turning to fire. But it's called culmination of the facts. That Deputy seen the gun in his hand but it was in no way in a threatening manner. Could you have gotten away with a legal shoot absolutely. But in law enforcement you will have people holding firearms thousands of times and you can't just shoot someone for holding a gun. You have to be able to articulate what made you feel like you were in danger. And you're going to tell me a dude working for New York City Police Department believe that that was a deadly force situation? It's true you only have a second to make a decision but what I saw I would have been ready to shoot but I would have pulled the trigger.
11: catch me if you can. 93% statistic that fugitives get caught. Oh my Lord. I'm not saying that statistic isn't out there for some sort of specific caveat. But holy cow. I can tell you the closure rate for investigations is much much much lower. We're talkin 35 to 45%. For anything involving an actual fugitive where you have to go out and find a random person after the case is over. Now if it's a recent thing within that 48 hour window when everyone is still doing what they're doing and the event is effectively still in progress, then yes it's very likely to catch someone. However you would be surprised how often something as stupid as they live 3 miles away in another County is enough to keep them from being arrested. Cuz that police officer doesn't have the jurisdiction to go 3 miles away and arrest the bad guy. Or maybe other cases are piling up and you just move on to the next case and then the next case and then the next case. I got to tell you solve rates are much lower than the public really wants to know.
12: I won't hammer on this because I've already mentioned it but in Captain America when he says that they don't work alone. That may be a city with 11,000 police officers like he's used to but in most jurisdictions is perfectly normal to work alone.
13: this is just a personal opinion but he says that when the to start kissing that it might actually work because that's not the behavior you're looking for, I think that reality is most cops are men and men are hardwired to notice sexual activity. I think it would absolutely draw the average male's attention when you see people making out in a public place. Not being pervy just realistic.
14: marshals. I feel like this is dumb to say. But there was no assault rifle under the baby. It was a shotgun. Come on dude. New Yorkers. 🙄😒
15: prison break dude here we go again with saying stuff that is going to make people hate cops. In the state that I live in and work as a police officer in I can say that it is legal to shoot a fleeing felon in the back. Because the belief is that they're already a dangerous person and now being out there likely to use another victim as a shield if they can get to them. However I have never in 17 years experience and officer doing that and never even heard of that Nationwide as far as I know. And for this guy to boldly say that this guy telling everybody the cops would probably shoot the guy in the back is just absolutely false. Is unlikely that a police officer is realistically going to go down without any sort of punishment for doing that. I know that people think that cops get away with killing people and it's no big deal that they just get an award for shooting a bad guy and move on with life. But it's a big deal in it there's heavy investigation and you may be fired you maybe written up you may be suspended you may be sued you may have a mob of people at your house is going to kill you your wife and your kids. It's got a lot of consequences and it is almost never as far as I know a cut-and-dry your back on the job tomorrow with no consequences. And this guy just blatantly acts like every cop in the world going to be like this is my opportunity to shoot a guy. Now I have less respect for this idiot than I did at the beginning of this show.
16: this "cop" really doesn't know the difference between a shotgun and a rifle, does he?
Okay these are just my observations and I'm sorry if I took all the fun out of it being overly pedantic. But these guys are supposed to be experts. And I'm sure that in a lot of ways he has more experience than I do. But he should really know better.
Guy loses credibility for using the term "assault rifle" and twice referring to shotguns as "rifles"
ОтветитьBusting drug users isn't sexy and won't get you on you tube
ОтветитьYour job is never to protect civilians. It's always to protect capital and harass the poor to fund the state with endless slaves
ОтветитьNo knocks tracking down murder suspects or escaped convicts makes sense. Anything below that needs to be highly staked out with his home at the time versus just making a public stop.
ОтветитьSimply love how this prior officer and Marshall public safety is the first thought everytime!
ОтветитьI hope this guy is still involved with the training of officers!
ОтветитьThought he would comment about Walter White bait scene being extremely risky. Sure digging the barrels standing is the ideal way to cover less surface but since it was a job that needed to be done fast and nothing suggesting it was a permanent fix, also banking on the depth barely covering the barrels seem irresponsible from both parties. Hank focusing on the dirt not matching should be the least of his worries. Not sure if Walt immediately knows Jesse flipped but i'm pretty sure that idea would cross his mind, increasing flight risk and him being way more cautious does not seem like a good play.
ОтветитьU want to solve no knock just make it that peoples lives r not worth evidence. Just watched ur episode and nobody would have a problem with yall using it. When it's violent offenders nobody cares when its for drugs that dont make a dent anyway then people don't think it's worth it for the officer or the person they're trying to arrest.
ОтветитьRespect my authority!!!!!!
Ответитьhow do you sit with your weapon away from the prisoner?
the taser goes on one side the pistol on the other pepper spray elsewhere asp if they have one too its near impossible to do what hes describing
Expert: sometimes federal and local authorities have different opinions
Comments: Wow he really seems to know what he's talking about
Expert: It's not that easy to lockdown 21 bridges
Comments: I've never thought of it like that, it must be his experience.
Expert: Marshall's will cover both exits instead of just one
Comments: My dad is a police officer, and he said that is true 👍
Gotta love this guy, a lot of the experts on these series dismiss the movies or incompetence in the movie by the officers/police, but in the Bourne and The Fugitive scene he even admits that its happened before that Fugitives slip by, or that they turn out to be very agile, perimeter’s not shut off, or that blocking a viaduct, while dangerous could work. A lot of nuance that he’s seeing even in very action-y scenes, very much appreciated.
Ответить"The world's most violent fugitives" *has no jurisdiction outside the US.
Ответитьthis guy looks like real life nick fury lmao
ОтветитьMy man Peppers!!! You've made it to retirement! Congratulations. The US Marshal show back in the day was cool.
Ответитьbro looks like the villan from sunny with a chance of meatball 2
ОтветитьCorrection sir it was not a assault rifle it was a pistol gripped short-barreled pop action shotgun
Ответитьcool
Ответитьbruh this dude is HANDSOME nohomo
ОтветитьSo bru ain’t shaft irl ?🤔😭😂😂😂😂
Ответитьlove the newark accent !!
ОтветитьStop calling weapons assault weapons or assault rifles.
ОтветитьSmart dude but man does he have a nose on him
ОтветитьSo 93% chance of being captured within five years? Sounds like a long paper trail...
ОтветитьI bet Mr. Peppers has a great sense of smell. 👃
ОтветитьThis one was cool! Enjoyed the insight
ОтветитьGreat review. I was hoping he would address the scene in so many movies like this were the commander orders his crew to find out "His name, where he grew up, every job he ever had, what he ate for breakfast, who his second grade teacher was, his girlfriend's mother's best friend..." Sometimes that just all seems way over the top.
ОтветитьOur department policy, and the surrounding departments transport with compliant prisoners in the front passenger seat. But we will also utilize our wagon or cage cars
ОтветитьOne of the best " How Real Is It? " I've seen so far. You can see and feel that M. Rasheen Peppers really knows his stuff (and that's not always the case 😁).
ОтветитьThis is the best "How Real Is It?" interview i've watched very informative, Mr. Peppers is very knowledgeable and so easy to listen to. I'd want him back for more.
ОтветитьLock down manhattan requires federal authority ? Wouldn't that require state authority ? Only the govenor would have that authority. Example would be Covid. The president didn't want to shut down the private sector out of fear of public backlash so the govenors did.
ОтветитьThis dude is tired of all these motherfucking fugitives on the motherfucking run!
ОтветитьImmediately Went to search for his favorite... the speed with which my typing was completed with the episode I wanted offered tells me I'm not the only one 😊
ОтветитьHow Scriptwriters and directors not ask ppl like this man to review their scripts is beyond me. But then I believe that real life does make good tv if you just narrate it right.
ОтветитьWe already know the movies aren't realistic. Tell us why in a way that makes it interesting and entertaining, don't just shake your head sadly and say "that's against protocol"
ОтветитьThe breaking bad one is hard to rate because the feds didnt actually know or have proof and hank and gomez were acting on their own, with reason to believe that walt would just give up because he genuinely didnt want anyone to get hurt
ОтветитьFYI, not all departments have cages. And some departments transport in the front seat.
I have had to transport many in the front seat.
And California Highway Patrol, the largest state police agency in the country has no cages in 80% of the fleet. They transport in the front seat. When they have two officers, they transport in the back seat with the other officer riding there.
The other officer will ALWAYS ride behind the driver, and do the math, how many people are right handed? So the hun will be next to the suspect.
I think this professionals that review the movies should be made up of a few people across the country so they can say what they would do in their department. But don’t tell people that it’s clearly not how things are done, when it was specific to his department.
I’m just waiting for banksy reviews graffiti scenes
ОтветитьIf he said, he's Sam L. Jackson... I'd believe him.
ОтветитьThe best fighters are ready and willing to do anything, to anyone, without hesitation, a sort of zen mindlessness.
ОтветитьI didn't know Samuel L Jackson was a U.S. Marshall lol
ОтветитьWhy is calling shotguns rifles
Ответить
