ОтветитьSo. The meaning of life, is to enjoy trees.
ОтветитьRoy Underhill is such a treasure. He was a big part of my past, and I love him to this day. His knowledge will live with me well on into the future!

ОтветитьRoy Underhill and Bob Ross, two inspirational personalities courtesy PBS.
ОтветитьMy BIG inspiration as a young-un! So grateful. I hope to get back into the old woodcraft myself in my later years.
ОтветитьA special person!
ОтветитьWhat is this video titled!? And why didn't I pause before coming to comment because now I'm getting sucked in by the algorithmic pressure.
ОтветитьBull no they said the world would be over by now!
ОтветитьHaha roy has always been so nerdy and geeky but when it comes to making things with his bare hands and simple tools he's a freakin jedi master for real. Watched him my whole life when I think about woodworking or do any he is who comes to my mind
ОтветитьAre you interested in travel to alaska and building a cabin?
ОтветитьNever realized how much of a global warming atheist this man was
Ответитьlove the woodrights shop I remember watching it with my dad growing up I'm 34
ОтветитьHe should have been interviewed as “tomorrow!”
Ответить💯 no one has worked harder in a TEDx
Ответитьis 360p the best tedX can muster?
ОтветитьThe master !!! I watched him on PBS since the 80s - a man’s man.
ОтветитьI wouldn;t deride english timber framing so easily. in the day, the woods wer eowned by the aristocracy. when you have a limited amount of wood you use it as sparingly as possible. Timber joinery is FAR FAR easier with squared timbers...there are ALWYS really good reasons for the way things were built..so let's latk about why that is because these methods will come back to Amserica as the American economy is about to be de-powered. Axes and saws and chisels will suddenly be useful again
ОтветитьLike Gallagher with splinters. Great education!
Ответить...... are we watching someone having a breakdown??
ОтветитьDear god the brain washing is thicc with this one.
ОтветитьHe deserves his own MasterClass
ОтветитьI love this guy and the great mementos he brought me when I was a kid watching his show! Roy is indeed a very smart, Legend!!!
ОтветитьThis is what will Ferrell will look like in 20 years

ОтветитьThe riddle of steel...
Ответитьwhy in gods name was this my recommended video?
Ответить"inflict culture upon nature" what a phrase
ОтветитьTERM OF ACCOUNT IS ALSO NOT WORKING WITH HOLLYWOOD . WILL FUNCTION WITH NO HOLLYWOOD MAIN OR SAPARATED FROM MAIN ON MY STUDIO .
ОтветитьBuilding houses out of logs by cutting trees with axes won't save the world, unless we take world population back to 1840 and decide that we won't have electricity, vehicles, or really any meaningful division of labor. You can't run modern America on trees and axes, primarily because there won't be enough trees to do it.
Ответитьi choped my first tree down today!
(a small Acer pseudoplatanus)
also as a european i feel attacked
why do i feel so offended when he says Europe doesn't have wood that's as strong.
ОтветитьIf there was a power tool 300 years ago you can bet every craftsman at the time would use them.
ОтветитьUsing tools is modern laziness. Back in my day you would use your words and the sweat off your brown to make a house... and then sleep out side
Ответить"Grab the chalk line."
"Now what?"
"Place your line"
"And now?"
"Measure your line to make sure you placed it right."
"Whys that grandpa? You measured it, it looks right."
"You always measure twice. Cause most times, you're only gonna get to cut once."
Lookin back, wood can teach you a lot about life.
Who's here learning how to chop wood for the apocalypse?
ОтветитьYou lost me at global warming
ОтветитьIs that a decal on the axe or is he a genius and wrote his script on his axe?
ОтветитьWould've been funny if at first he said, "I'm here to show you my wood."
ОтветитьWhat a fantastic dissertation of life as to how should live it !!!!!
ОтветитьHe may be more overhill than Underhill, but it's always nice to see him.
ОтветитьI love Roy Underhill. I have just come to learn he holds the title for "World's Most Out Of Breath Man."
