I think the family has a degree of responsibility here. Whether it's because they caused him harm (many have a history of violence and views that most people would see as abusive about how they raise children) or just that we were irresponsible and an accident-abduction, ect...happened. No trace of him at all, not even the slightest trail scent picked up by the dogs. How can the police rule out abduction. I hope he is found.

Okay so there's all sorts of weird things here. There were around 10 'aunts and uncles' yet 'they were all not much older than he was', you mean his 'aunts and uncles' were also toddlers? Huh? Then around 2pm Emile had a short nap before 'he decided' to play in the garden, and it wasn't until after 5pm that the grandparents decided to look for him. WTF were the grandparents and all the toddler 'aunts and uncles'? It sounds like a a fake story to me. Something happened to him before that. Why TF are kids playing near cliffs?

Who the hell sees a 2yo wandering alone and just lets them go? THAT'S suspicious. My son took himself for a walk when he was 3. I've never been so scared in my life, I shouted myself hoarse trying to find him. But he was soon spotted by a motorist and immediately grabbed up and taken to the cop shop. That's what you do when you find a child alone.

He's two and they left him along to play?! I babysit and you never ever leave a kiddo that little unattended even for a second. They get into stuff and someone could easily take them. Poor baby.

It just makes me suspicious when a child goes missing and the parents aren’t screaming from the rooftops about finding their child. If my child went missing, the whole world would know about it and they would never stop hearing my voice or seeing my face until he was found. I’d be organising constant searches, I’d be out day and night wanting to search houses myself. I’d harass the media. I’d hire private detectives to trace every cellphone that pinged in that area. Id look into every neighbour in that area. I’d have posters up everywhere outside every house. I’d be wading through lakes, raising money to hire multiple search teams, look into pedophile rings and traffickers. I’d give interview after interview in the hope of pushing information out of someone. You would do whatever it takes. When they are quiet, and they make not one appeal, not one appearance to appeal for help, that just really makes me wonder. If I’m wrong and they genuinely have no idea where their child is than I wish them strength and pray they get answers. But something doesn’t sit right with me.

I hate to say this, but the grandparents were the last to see him, and with no other concrete leads off the property, he may have had an accident such as a fall or drowning, and the grandparents panicked and hid the evidence.
