Nepal's current Prime Minister, Pushpa Kamal Dahal, took office in December 2022 after leading a coalition government. In March 2023, Ram Chandra Paudel became president, marking a shift in power from the Communist party. The recent coalition between Dahal's Maoist Centre and the Nepali Congress party ended due to internal rifts. Political instability persists, with Prime Minister Dahal maneuvering to maintain his position. Concerns exist about slow progress on legislation due to ongoing political struggles. Journalist Rupesh Shrestha has interviewed Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' on this context on FIRESIDE. On this episode, PM was questioned Why and How the coalition has changed, what the future of politics looks like and how the government is going to work.
