You can use makeup airbrushes and compressors, they come for about £30 on amazon, the compressor has no tank but its tiny and cheap!
ОтветитьThose bases look amazing, and they're so easy to do! Holy crap!
ОтветитьIm gonna find a reason to use that basing idea
ОтветитьI absolutely love the scheme of these tyranids, pink and teal supremacy for life
ОтветитьI agree 100% to buy a cheaper airbrush to get started with airbrushing. You can use it for priming and basing while you get a feel for airbrushing. Best part is they hold value quite well and you can upgrade at any point if you want to buy a more expensive one. Oh yeah and it's WAY more forgiving to clean and maintain a cheaper airbrush for the first time than with a $200+ model.
ОтветитьWell i was about to say "Congra.....". But anyway "Congratulations!".
ОтветитьOh hey I use the same basing technique though mine was viewed more like nids corruption in a similar vain to zerg Creep, so it shares a similar colour scheme to my bugs.
Mine are just different shades of blue so I do worry that there's not enough contrast 😅
Great speed painting idea and lovely scheme, but I'd love to see some glazed in shadows for extra POW.
ОтветитьAs for drakenhof nightshade, mix it really well or it will get shiny
ОтветитьLove it!
ОтветитьWhat compressor does he use
Ответитьthere ya go mate, make others do the work. do it well enough and the kiddies will be in preschool in no time flat.
ОтветитьDeep Rock Galactic
ОтветитьAnyone have any ideas on how to convert this scheme to GSC? Obviously I want to keep the vibrant pink flesh, but I wasn't sure about their clothes or vehicles. Should I go neon with the paintjobs and clothing material etc?
ОтветитьThis makes me think you can do the actual second ed colors in codex with new and detailed minis and look awesome.
ОтветитьThey come in blasting poison sacks and 80s dream pop plays in the background
ОтветитьAka the cs go hype beast color way
Ответитьunfortunately most the fluorescent paints are really thin and require like 4 coats to show up, especially the blue
ОтветитьHuzzah
ОтветитьA perfect scheme to try in lockdown :) Might have to improvise some colour mixing though...
ОтветитьGreat video from Ant. A fantastic colourway. Looking forward to the next video. Keep up the good work.
ОтветитьThe only thing holding me back from getting an airbrush is that i got one last year, and in a couple hours it wouldn't work because even after a while of researching i made a mistake which dried paint at the nozzle, and even when i cleared it out it didn't work, so i sent it back and have been scared to get another ever since.
ОтветитьHotline miami warhammer edition would be a great series
ОтветитьWhere was this when I tried and failed to do synthwave Chaos Marines last year Sadge
ОтветитьAwesome Video!!!!
ОтветитьThe way ant talked about the Tyranids devouring biomass makes me think he could be a gene stealer
ОтветитьIs there a full list of paints used? I saw in another vid they had orange weapons i believe sooooo cool!
ОтветитьAbsolutely love your painting videos.
ОтветитьThank you for the base Idea. I've been using it on my Tyranids its really easy and it looks really cool. The army pop out in contrast to the biomass.
ОтветитьNo airbrush-club checking in! The regular magenta fluo worked good. Took longer as stated however... about 3 coats, not 100% perfect, but after wash and drybrush it looked like in the vid :)
ОтветитьDo you have any recommendations for synthwave drukhari
Ответитьnice job speed and simple peint tyranid is very butiful !
ОтветитьYou gave me an inspiration and I've made my own army of nids in a similar tone. Thx!
ОтветитьI've been looking for a nice basing technique that fits my 'Nids, and this just might be it! I'm already painting the gaps in their exoskeleton to look like gore, so a matching base would make perfect sense!
The whole scheme is going to be:
-Various metallic colors for the carapace (allows for practice with NMM as well as testing different metallic paints, but the troops will have holographic nail flakes like Midwinter Minis used for the Eldar speedpaint video)
-Various human skin tones for the exoskeleton (allows for practice with blending for the big boys, custom contrast paints for the little gribblies, and overall color theory practice to mix the skin tone paints myself)
-Gore-colored gaps in the exoskeleton, with matching gory "half-digested planet" theme for the base, as shown in this video
-Off-white details for claws, hooves, teeth, and eyes
This scheme gives me a ton of opportunities to try new things while keeping with the army theme, and I'll be labeling each batch of models with roman numerals on the rim of the base, to show the order in which I painted them. This will help me see my progress as a painter over time! I'm super excited to finally get my old, busted up secondhand army to look tabletop ready!
hehe he said rimjob lol
ОтветитьI'm using this video as a guide for painting up the necromunda Helamites fleas for the ash wastes.
ОтветитьI don’t get the proses of an air brush so I don’t buy
Ответить'Black Rimjob' lol
ОтветитьBlack rimjob ?
ОтветитьYou'll never 'Outrun' these Synthwave nids
ОтветитьThis was absolutely spellbinding to watch 👍🏻
ОтветитьWhat white are u mixing with?
ОтветитьWhat do you do with wings please could you do some winged synthwave tyranids :)
ОтветитьI’m sorry, dude, that thing on your wrist just bugged me too much to continue watching.
ОтветитьWhat an awesome idea for the bases..... I am very impressed. This man understood the assignment!
ОтветитьWhat if i used the Druchi Violet shade rather than the Carroburg Crimson - wouldn't it give me better shadows?
ОтветитьNice tutorial, thank you. I just have a question and i'm sorry if you said it in the video, my english level doesn't allow me to understand everything : Did you used Nuln oil on the shell ? What violet did you used for détails ? (like tongues)
ОтветитьI'm currently painting my tyranids in this scheme and I had a question. After inking them it really darkens the color and really want them to be more vibrant. I've tried drybrushing the base florescent pink but it doesn't cover well enough. Any suggestions?
