World Young Doctor's Day Conference 2022 at Hotel The Leela Palace, Chennai on 24th June 2022 organised by Indian Medical Association Tamilnadu State branch , JDN & MSN. Hon'ble Thiru.Ma.Subramanian Sir, Minister of health and family welfare, Government of Tamilnadu and Hon'ble Thiru.S.M. Nasar, Minister of Milk and Dairy Department,Government of Tamil Nadu were Inaugurated the program.

INDIAN MEDICAL ASSOCIATION

Indian Medical Association is the only representative, national voluntary organisation of Doctors of Modern Scientific System of Medicine, which looks after the interest of doctors as well as the well being of the community at large.
Today, I.M.A. is a well established organisation with it's Headquarters at Delhi and State / Territory Branches in 34 States and Union Territories. It has over 3,30,000* doctors as its members through more than 1750* local branches spread all over the country.
To promote and advance medical and allied sciences in all their different branches and to promote the improvement of public health and medical education in India
To maintain the honour and dignity and to uphold the interest of the medical profession and to promote co-operation amongst the members thereof; To work for the abolition of compartmentalism in medical education, medical services and registration in the country and this to achieve equality among all members of the profession.

(IMA JDN)

Every year there are about 45,000 fresh medical graduates joining the medical profession with already existing 8,50,000 practicing doctors in our country. More than in any profession there is a need to engage them, train and mould them to become a complete doctor. The Medical profession is advancing with newer discoveries and innovations every day and the issues in the doctor patient relationship are also on the rise. The more experienced doctors could impart their experience to the young doctors for our own good and that of our patients.

To achieve the goal of bringing all the young doctors of our country under one roof ie., IMA, IMA Head Quarters New Delhi, Started this new initiative IMA Junior Doctors Network.

INDIAN MEDICAL ASSOCIATION MEDICAL STUDENT'S NETWORK
(IMA MSN)

IMA MSN is the student's wing of IMA, aiming to connect medical students from all the medical colleges in India with the same goals and purpose as IMA while also providing a means for curricular and extra curricular activities to students.
- To sensitize the students in medical college of modern medicine, about IMA and its activities with an aim to enroll them as a member of IMA in future.
-To help and guide them regarding future prospect in medical career, education, ethics, research and employment avenues.
-To help and guide them to intervene if any problem arises during their educational career.
-To identify talents among MBBS students and to help them for further improvement.
- To involve them in various social and cultural activities and national health programmes.
-To publish matters towards accomplishing the objectives
