I like Caitlin Moran, her books are funny and she's far from stupid. I used to think like that about Jordan Peterson not so long ago, particularly as I am an ardent feminist/atheist: it took for me to actually read his books, & listen to his lectures & debates, in order to realise that I was basing my opinions on sound bytes and my political bias. I think Caitlin is doing this here.

it comes with notoriety! People throw the mirror at you and the mirror shatters or takes its own often distorted shape. It is important to speak in favor of people if one cares about people and not aspire to notoriety. Dr. Peterson displays a genuine care for people and he is lauded for his efforts to reach out to people. Personal attacks, like the one Moran displayed, serve no one.

you can clearly see they like each other. i mean jordan sitting with his kid, being comfortable and laughing warms my heart. with how he's treated on some of the interviews by people just trying to wind him up and provoke him to say controversial things it's nice for a change.

The question isn't does that lady just not understand Peterson, she doesn't want to. The problem is, humans don't want the truth and won't accept the truth if it doesn't paint them in a good light. If the truth makes someone realize they're and idiot, or wrong or crazy or arrogant, so on, they simply will reject it. Humans are selfish cowards with god complex's that believe they are always right about everything, yet if everyone's believing that, and everyone is fighting over conflicting beliefs, someone's fucking wrong lol. Though in truth almost all are wrong. If you operate off belief, you will never know truth, and if you operate off truth, you will never believe in anything, as belief and truth aren't the same thing, and never can be. Belief is what you WANT to be true, not what is true.

Money doesn't fix the problem though...doesn't make you safer and more secure, that's a belief, a feeling, a state of mind. Placing such importance on money will never end well, it only feeds the problem of human dependency on the drug that is money.

Its not about saying "make your bed" it is the reason that sits behind it and helps (if you listen) you think more widely and deeply about your behaviour and actions

Jordan has helped so many of us and will continue to for the rest of our lifes. We are lucky to have him in our generation and we are lucky that he is so strong and steadfast and never backs down. He is truly a person the world needs, to make it better.
