How do you keep that pressure on your line when you're fishing? Nobody addresses this. I cast forty yards of line and just reel it in with no pressure when fishing.
ОтветитьIt just literally took me over 20 minutes just to get the line through 🤦🏿♂️
Now hopefully I can tie a knot that will stay 😂
Thanks. I just bought my first baitcaster and wanted to make sure I did it right.
Your video was the best how too 👍
Wouldn’t all that packing go away after a few casts
ОтветитьPro Tip: take out the spool and wrap it with electrical tape and then just tie on the braid like monofilament. And the electrical tape will give the braid something to grip onto. This way you don't have to use a backing and it's a lot more effective than taping it to the spool. Because sometimes if you tape it to the spool the tape will come undone under the braid and you'll have a mess on your hands.
ОтветитьThank you sir!
ОтветитьIf you don't have that set up use my old school method of water in a bucket, throw the line spool in and add tension with a wet towel. Hope this helps 👍👍
ОтветитьNo backing?
ОтветитьThanks helped alot
Ответитьis 15 Lb. braid heavy enough for bass?
ОтветитьJust did the two feet technique, my wife and daughter were highly amused!
ОтветитьAwesome video thanks a lot.
ОтветитьThank you sm 🙏
Ответить👍
ОтветитьAfter i finished spooling i had a bunch of like fluff shavings from spooling tje braid thru the cloth. Is that normal or will it affect it?
ОтветитьGlad I watched this AFTER I backlashed and had to remove a whole spool of line once it dug into its self lol.
ОтветитьWhat type of braid is it
ОтветитьFantastic video!!!
ОтветитьA good ideas to put line on your reel is a bolt (1/4" or 5/16") with a fairly stiff spring and wingnut. Put your spool of line on the bolt (you can use various spacers for different size spools) and tighten up the wingnut to put tension on the spring. That should give you enough tension on the line when you are filling your reel. Works for me.
ОтветитьTHANK you.
ОтветитьI had one of those and it works great . Mine got broke and can’t fine one now.
ОтветитьYeah you didn't even show where you tied that first knot. By the time your camera zoomed back in, it looked like nothing had been tied and you had the tag end. Then you say to tie an overhand knot "to the line coming through the eye". Then what did you tie to on the first knot if not that line?
ОтветитьSo what happens to the tightness the first time you fish with it? Am I supposed to tighten the drag all the way down and grab a towel every time I reel the line in?
ОтветитьThis would have been a great video, if the camera would’ve shown you tying the knot onto the spool (instead of being blocked by your hands). I’m 0 for 2 so far (the last guy completely skipped that part of the tutorial). On to the next one. 🤞
ОтветитьUse cheap mono backing!
ОтветитьThank you
ОтветитьI have a question what about if I don't have that spooling machine
ОтветитьBraid should not be used directly on the real as a backing. It’s too slippery.
ОтветитьThank you for the video I had many questions about how to spool my new bait caster and how to tie the knot can’t wait to try spooling and start fishing
Ответитьim so happy to watch this video. but i have one question sir, since i am very very new using baitcaster..should i put directly the lure to my main line?after setting up main line to the reel, should i attach directly the lur to it?or should i need a swivel?please looking forward on your reply.
ОтветитьThank ya, this is what I was looking for
ОтветитьI'm a little late to the party but, this is one of the best videos explaining how to spool braid specifically. I kept having issues and realized it was due to the line not being spooled tight enough. Thanks!
ОтветитьThanks for your help putting braided line on my Baitcaster reels.Buddy 🤠
Ответить🇺🇸👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
ОтветитьWhat should I set my tension and brakes to when spooling the reel? This is my first time spooling a baitcaster.
ОтветитьThank you sir 👌
ОтветитьThank you for the advice I used a small strip of duct tape sure it’ll do just fine.
ОтветитьThats an amazing video
ОтветитьThanks!!!
ОтветитьMakes sense thanks man!
ОтветитьWhat about using mono should I put a ton of pressure
ОтветитьSimple and helpful..thanks!
ОтветитьThanks dude. What a nice guy
ОтветитьJust getting into baitcasting reels so this was real helpful. Thanks
ОтветитьNice vid!! Do you use FC leader on baitcaster?
ОтветитьTight for the backing, but the part you cast in and out frequently will not be reeled on that tightly, so idk how much of a difference it makes
ОтветитьJust got my first baitcaster today. I’ve been wanting to try it out for the longest time. This video is very helpful because I wasn’t sure on how to spool it up. Thank you
ОтветитьAwesomeness, I was wondering why my braid on my baitcaster was sticking together. Thanks again!!
ОтветитьGreat video you kept it short simple but effective 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
ОтветитьGreat tips!
