I finally figured out how to make it work on Mac! you hold down command while highlighting the row, as you go on to highlight the next row DONT LET GO OF COMMAND!! instead just let go of the keypad and highlight the next row! after you let go of everything it should still be highlighted! I hope I explained this well.

At first it didnt work for me, because i let go of the control button after I ve selected data i wanted but actually once you ve highlighted the data and press control or comand dont let go till you click on the chart u wanna make

IF THIS DOESNT WORK FOR YOU ON A MAC, USE THE COMMAND KEY THAT IS ON THE RIGHT HAND SIDE OF THE KEYBOARD!!!!!! Found this solution on my own after watching a ton of videos. Hope this helps someone!!

If ur like me and struggled with this first hold the left mouse before dragging then hold control, drag down, release left mouse, continue to hold control, 2nd column same thing. While still holding cibtrol, hold left mouse for a second, then drag down, release control, then release left mouse. Two columns should still be highlighted. Hope this helped, ps fuck spreadsheets!
