Great reviews.
ОтветитьUV is handy for a quick charge of your lume markers on your wristwatch 👍
ОтветитьI am in agreement with you! The A8 is probably my favorite purchase in the past decade! What an amazing tool that I can hang in my pocket everyday… I went with the 90 CRI 5K and it is perfect! My eyes have grown tiresome of the higher K “cool” light led’s. I cannot believe what this little bit is capable of! Absolutely fantastic!
ОтветитьHow is RovyVon A8 different to Aurora A5-G4 ?? Great vid by the way..!!
ОтветитьHow can I purchase these great torch’s?🏋️♀️⚡️
Ответить👏👏 Manaus
ОтветитьThe RovyVon E30 that just released looks interesting.
ОтветитьAngel eyes: Is there a version with white, red AND UV leds on side? Thx
ОтветитьCan we put 10440 li-ion in E8?
ОтветитьHey Jon, wanted to thank you for the excellent informative content you create.
Would you mind sharing what brand t shirt you are wearing in this video and where you purchased it?
All the best to you and cheers from Canada!
Hi I am a bit apprehensive about rechargeables. I’d like my lights to last >5 years, does the battery last this long?
ОтветитьI love your lisp. Very manly.
ОтветитьSince you like the small RocyVons I recommend looking up a Wurkkos TS10
ОтветитьI'm looking at buying the A8 G4. Unfortunately, from the reviews and the manual, I can't tell if it'll be possible for me to use it for morse code... the concern I have, is that it has so many functions linked to quick successive presses, that I can't see how it could be used for morse without it changing into other modes by mistake. Could someone please confirm? As an alternative, it looks like the A28 should do what I want, but it's a bit bigger than I had in mind... thanks in advance.
ОтветитьJon, this is a FLASHLIGHT video! Can we have the FLASHLIGHTS please?
ОтветитьJon I have to say I gave that stupid short a Thumbs Down because you didn't say WHAT kind of flashlight. I hate these bloody shorts. They are stupid.
ОтветитьI couldn't imagine not being able to carry a knife..there isn't a day that goes by that I don't use my pocket knife,it's an auto as well witch makes life so much easier, doing something in one hand need your knife just grab from pocket clip hit the button and ready 2 use..
ОтветитьDoes the body of the A8 Gen4 glow in the dark?
ОтветитьCan't carry a locking knife in the UK? Wow. That is mental... Cool lights though, I've been looking for an edc light. Is the 1000 lumen enough to blind a hostile person to help keep distance?
ОтветитьThat E8 seems ideal, but the size is not keychain, IMO. I love that it has AAA backup, though. That's where sizing comes into the mix. Maybe make one that has 2 (two) LI batteries instead?
ОтветитьGreat review! Had an A8 and now have an a28 Don't know know witch one I like more, both have advantages! Both fantastic!
ОтветитьPlease can you do a review of the torches on Amazon that look similar to the RovyVon ones, but they’re cheaper, to see if they are any good?
Ответитьwhat is the advantage of getting the A8 over the A6? it looks like the A6 has the same modes, but also has a glow in the dark button and USBC cover. the metal cap is aluminum and I think the button is still the rubber one, but beyond those differences I don’t see why the A8 would be better unless it has more modes or better UI or something. anyone have experience with both?
thanks!
I didnt expect watching this video and spend something early in the morning...thanks mr. Jonathan! hahahaha, cant wait to recieve the A8 g4 😮💨🤣
ОтветитьI really don't see the point in the UV light mode, it's pretty useless and shouldn't be the first option when you turn on the lamp mode, the warm yellow mode is much more useful
ОтветитьAlso notably the Ax generation 1 lights had a much, much smaller battery (130 mAh vs 330 mAh). Huge improvement.
ОтветитьCool Video 👍
Thank U for the Info and links 👍
Bugs aren’t attracted to red lights , so you can see at night and not attract bugs .
ОтветитьAh My mistake this isnt a flashlight video its an info mercial for some name X brand.
ОтветитьPace of the video is too slow to be good
ОтветитьI had high hopes for the A8. I was ready to replace my edc light with the A8 and two days later the buton malfunctioned. I am getting it repaced, hopefully the copy was a fluke because that light has the best all in one features of it's size IMO.
ОтветитьI bought this on temu for 5 pounds :)
ОтветитьRovyvon is cheap Chinese Crap.
ОтветитьIn most of your review videos, you give us some pricing information. What happened this time? Did Rovyvon ask you not to as part of the sponsorship agreement for this video?
Regardless, at $65 for the A8, $80 for the A28, and $85 for the E8 (Amazon Canada), I don't see the value proposition.
I have an old A5x with micro usb charging and a non-magnetic clip and I absolutely love it. The size is practical and I love that the body fluoresces, that is among the most practical features of these. The side light combined with the clip also means you have a hands-free light on you: just clip it to the collar of your shirt. The main light clipped to the brim of a cap is more practical for this purpose as the beam is more focused, but I'm not someone who wears caps, so the sidelight is really practical. I typically clip it into my front right pocket and use the key ring as a quick grab handle. It's so much quicker than using your phone as a flashlight and because of this, I use it more, for example when it's dark where I'm going, so it's improved my safety. If I just had my phone, I would not go through the inconveniences of pulling it out just to see where I'm going, and I'd be more likely to stumble down stairs and so on. Also, I work in theatre so I use it daily, and it really holds up. It doesn't have the brightness of a bigger flashlight, but a bigger flashlight would weigh my already quite packed (with things) trousers down even more and I wouldn't be able to clip it to the collar of my shirt as an improvised "headlamp".
ОтветитьWhat is the difference between rovyvon a8 and a7
ОтветитьDid they ditch the glow in the dark feature? Not interested if so. As a hiker and camper that was a super useful feature for finding that thing in the tent at night 🌙
ОтветитьI edc an A8, i have tried edcing lots of different lights but i hate bulk and the a8 is packed to the gills in features in a tiny package. I believe the best gear is the gear you have on you and if something is uncomfortable it'll get left home and be useless.
ОтветитьGreat job! Been looking for my next EDC. I'll pick up the A28 based on your vid. Might even get the E5 and a carabiner.
Ответитьwhat is the difference between the a5 and a8. the main difference i can see is that the a5 is glow in the dark so it seems like a better option. are there any function differences?
ОтветитьThank you for this video. I'm looking for a new edc flashlight and I'll definitely check these ones out! Cheers
ОтветитьAmazon Canada has an A8 for $65 and an A8 through your link for $129. In trying to figure out of it’s the same generation?
ОтветитьWow that A8 is incredible! I need to get one! Shit I just bought 2 flashlights today and this will be a third 🤑
ОтветитьI bought the Aurora A5 after seeing your video on it, great keychain light. Have you seen the Rovyvon S21 yet? Looks great and free shipping from the US, very tempted to order one!
Ответитьgot through TSA with one of those carabiners.
ОтветитьThe A8 is the perfect EDC light.
ОтветитьI too have all three generations of the A8 and have kept each past version. Great that the latest one has the metal switch and USB-C charging. It is the only light that is my everyday companion! So glad to know that someone else has this level of appreciation for this perhaps under appreciated torch! 😁👍🔦🔦🔦
ОтветитьI ordered all 3; A8, E8, and A28. Unfortunately the button on the A8 is defective (stuck and short travel; I've contacted customer service) - but the others are awesome. Rovyvon make great lights.
ОтветитьWas really interested in buying the mini Rovyvon, but the shipping of this tiny flashlight to NZ was USD$50. Fuck that. Many other brands from China either have free shipping or you pay a reasonable rate of like USD$20 at max. Their website even said you can get free shipping if you spend over $X, but that doesn't seem to be applicable to NZ, so my idea of buying multiple to sell some so I don't get gypped by shipping doesn't even work. 😒
ОтветитьWatched your videos and see you shaking with you hands all over the place, would not buy now any of your stuff because some of it for sure have chemicals or even lead inside which made you sick, just stay on a good old swiss knife and skip all the extra china stuff you promot.
