I watched this when it came out, because even though I had never played DC it had been on my radar to play and I'm a sucker for good animation. Anyways, I just played Dead Cells recently, and I was NOT prepared for how mean Serenade actually is LOL. I love how the trailer characterized this cute cursed pet sword, but I was so surprised when in game it just calls me mean things 😂 I like both characterizations!
Edit: Just went through and rewatched all animated trailers, and this one is definitely my favorite! Great animation and I like the little story that is told here lol

Absolutely great game! Every gamer must try. So much love and effort put by the developers into this game. Cant wait to see whats more to come.

Tbh, I kinda liked the older animation but I understand how painful it is to do all that shading!!!

If this game was as good as the animated trailers that MASSIVELY mislead players to what the game will be like, I would actually play it.

Honestly, this should be a series and I would sure as hell watch this unlike cuphead. Such a dussapointment

right now in soul knight, that sword is added into the game as a pet and its job is just like the animation, it kills, but it also guides you to collect cells to unlock a new character "the beheaded", and unlocking one is easy to people who are able to get to world 3
