tyler: make lyrics for the solo that u think is most melodic.

me: the best of times solo's melody is the lyric melody

Melodic solo's tell a story they paint a picture it can register to anyone its a universal language. Shredding imo is a great and fun technic but you can't relate to it it doesn't paint a picture it's just a cool technique that's why the greatest solos ever are most melodic solo's.

This is one of the best ways for melodic soloing, i'm not a very good guitar player but i really hear the difference while i sing the solo before deciding which notes must be kept

Yes, it is interesting that the simple one note melody of a song can be turned almost into any style of music because genre is predominantly about instrumentation and arrangement.

I think you need to look at editing your videos like you look at guitar(I only say this because i have been trying to up my editing skills too & studying it a lot lately)... I notice you keep using the glitch transition for almost everything, you did it in the emotional playing video too... I love the glitch transition, but mix it up... I'm not hating or saying you're wrong. You have given me a lot of great tips, so i thought i would return the favor... I'm not an expert on any level, just something i noticed... Have a great day, take it easy...
