To long have they stood against you. I relate with the scene where that man is poisoning the King with slander and negativity and you see that energy being pulled from the king and his health returning in his wyes

I just noticed: Theoden only wears a crown when currupted by Sarumon, like he had to wear it to remind people he is the king.
But when he is no longer in Sarumon's hold he no longer needed to wear a crown he showed he's a king

i love King Theorden. He is my absoutle favorite. Always Have . My son gets mad at me cause he loves Aragon. Also like Faramur and Barhmur.

Great. Movie

When i first read LOTR as a younger teenager Theoden was my hero, then I saw the films, and that made him immortal, thanks Bernard Hill.

Epic is the term for these great films. But I was disappointed in the scene with Saruman at his tower. This battle of wills with his voice as the weapon was sorely understated in the scene. In the books it was a powerful and significant moment in the tale and here they threw it in as kind of an afterthought.
