If you make a terrible mistake, just close the game out without saving and start the day over. I do this pretty often

I scammed Grandpa out of hundreds of Statues of Perfection so I can get thousands of Iridium Ore every day. I had to place the statues farther and farther from Grandpa's altar to avoid picking them. It was 1:50 AM. In 10 minutes I passed out and all statues despawned. I had to start over. Next day I put statues in the bus tunnel. I got completely blocked by the statues but did not notice it at first. Then I noticed purple crumbs flying everywhere. Turns out Statues of Perfection are actually very fragile objects that can be grinded off each other. By the time I realized that over 100 Statues of Perfection turned into purple dust 🤦‍♀

When you get married be careful where you place your machines, NPC spouses can and will destroy them by walking over them. Actually be careful anywhere you place machines as NPCS destroy anything in their walk path. Take advantage of the dessert and trail above your farm instead!

Stardew Valley is like the hardcore version of Harvest Moon. They really took the Harvest Moon mechanics and learn from it and improve on it to the point where it is hard to know where the original idea comes from.

I don't understand why anyone wants so many dinosaur eggs. I donated my first one and probably found 4 more during the first year that I had no use for apart from selling. If you don't use mayonnaise as a way to profit it's not worth hoarding them imo.

Came back from a year or two since I last played started a new world saved my shard for so long but gave it to gunther so I could get the sewer key ( WAS NOT FUCKEN WORTH IT)

It doesn’t increase to 30% chance with the burglar ring. It’s still 15% but the game rolls twice. It ends up being a little less than 30% chance to get a tooth lol like trivially less, something like 29.9996% lol

You forgot ancient seeds the artefact. I donated mine to the museum and took me ages to dig out another one.
Also take the hay out from the bin to feed the animals. Empty those bin then continue to cut grasses. This way you can have one silo with bunch of hay. That’s how I got 5 thousand hay in one chest. Make sure you build silo before chickens coop. That was my mistake. Clearing grasses in the farm too early and building the chicken coop before getting the silo. To mend that you can buy 2 or 3 grass starter from Perrie and plant them in the farm. Also you can plant fibre seed and grass starter in winter. That way you can get lots of fibre or hay early on in spring. Or you can named your animals with those cheat codes. Maybe you can still get something out. Like dinosaur egg.
