I get around 900Mbps to 950Mbps speeds on ethernet with AT&T which is incredible speeds but they don't offer these speeds for home internet anymore. I was one of the last homes to get these speeds offered to them!

As a radio technician, and someone who studies radio frequencies I can tell you in some cases depending on the RF the antenna I assume uses VHF or UHF in most cases it’s faster than hard wiring, the fastest your gonna get would be fiber optic cables.

Why people stick to ethernet cable isn't primarily because of their speed but rather the latency, If you play games like LOL, DOTA or Multiplayer games, having a low ping is what matters. Your internet speed won't even matter there as 10-30 mbps of internet is already enough when playing those and it's not like your gonna be downloading something while in game. Also the way of your testing sucks, what kind of pc tech channel is this.

Aan someone with 2.5gbit wifi this kinda funny 😂. It's hugely dependent on your router/network setup also Internet speed is also limited by the kinda provider you have. Testing internal network speed would say more. So shot answer yes definitely long answer no not on the high end, but sometimes 20 times then what you have is totally possible with wifi and lan.
