This whole thing seems really strange. Soldier boy behaved like he expected crimson countess to save him. But why would he do that when he had already seen her amongst those who betrayed him?

You know we may not even be seeing the full picture as young Stan Edgar was played by Justiin Davis but in Noir’s flashback he is voiced by Giancarlo Esposito. Sure that may have just been a small oversight but I think it means Noir’s memory was damaged when Soldier Boy bashed his head in with the shield
