I mistakenly said the 2.0L engine makes 140hp, it actually makes 158hp. Sorry about that. So many numbers, so little brain power...
ОтветитьThe Si is manual.
ОтветитьDoes the trunk leak
ОтветитьDo you think you could fit 2 bicycles in there? 😅
ОтветитьIf you take the front wheel off, can you slide the bike in standing up?
ОтветитьThe road noise is just awful.
ОтветитьI have to sat the Platinum White along with the Boost Blue are the best Civic colors.
ОтветитьIs your hood not shut all the way or is that gap always there?
ОтветитьBike test 🙏 🎉👍
ОтветитьI wonder if the non turbo 2.0 engine feels better with the manual transmission regarding rev hang??
ОтветитьI hate saying this but I was wondering if my type r could fit a bike. I plan on buying one in the spring. But couldn't find anyone testing if the bikes fit. Thanks man.
ОтветитьThank you for doing the bike test!
ОтветитьIs that a mountain bike? Or smaller?
ОтветитьStick shift for life. Automatic is nice but for this car, manual!
ОтветитьHa ha, WRX here hearing about rev hang on a Honda...
ОтветитьLX Base has halogen headlights.
ОтветитьLove this car. Could be one of the last chances to get a stick hatch.
ОтветитьYeah you can put that bike in the hatch, but that's one bike. Two bikes is a pain in the ass and Honda will bitch about your warranty if they see you install a tow hitch, which is by far the easiest way to mount a rack that's easy to load with bikes.
ОтветитьYeeeess! I watched this video to see if I can fit my bike in my hatchback and this video proves it! Thanks!
ОтветитьI can't find one in manual transmission anywhere. One dealership told me Honda doesn't make them.
Ответитьyes, here for the bike test.
ОтветитьSedan benefits, SUV convenience, hatchbacks are the best
ОтветитьI was just about to comment on the naturally aspirated 2 L engine making 158 horsepower not 140 but I see you already corrected that below. Thank you for your video. I'm really interested to try a manual in the 2 L naturally aspirated engine that undoubtedly has vtec, in order to see how it feels at the higher revs.
ОтветитьA pug.k.? K.
ОтветитьSeems like all cars have no lumbar support anymore lol
ОтветитьYou are cute so yes I could watch you put bikes in cars all day long. 😂😂😂 funny guy. 😉
Oh and nice review too. Lol
but its not AWD.
ОтветитьLove it! Just got mine!
ОтветитьI traded in my 2020 Lexus SUV for this model last month and couldn’t be happier. I get more features, MPG and even the sport mode kicks in better. The only “con”, for me at least, is lack of memory seat options but overall Honda did a fantastic job with this redesign.
ОтветитьThese cars should be selling quite well with the current state of fuel prices. The car itself seems nearly perfect, honestly. Based on reviews and the interior dimensions, I will probably be trading into one in a few years after the miles start adding up on my HR-V (uber/lyft alone is accumulating around 50k a year for me annually since I started going full time with the job). I'd love to see a comparison between the sport hatch with the base 2.0l engine up against the more expensive 1.5t found in these two. It's been awhile since I owned a turbocharged vehicle and they're lack of immediacy is actually something I enjoy as it intensifies the feeling of power in vehicles that aren't outright super quick acceleration wise. Is the loss of a few MPG, the additional cost of the higher trim level and potentially a less reliable (as turbocharged motors are inherently more complex than an NA motor) worth the additional 30ish HP?
Maybe, though I get the feeling the Sport will be a big seller even though it isn't exactly tuner friendly. From what I've seen it sells for approximately $5k less even though there are plenty of other options lost by moving to the Sport trim and Honda might actually be better off overall by making the 1.5t standard across all models.
for the love of god, 15 minutes self talking only who will watch till the end???
ОтветитьPlease do a video on putting a bike in the back of a 2022 Corolla hatchback, I’m torn between the civic and the Corolla
ОтветитьI've been driving a modern pickup for the last 7 years, but before that, all my cars and trucks were manuals. I'm kind of itching to drive one again before they go away and this car is at the top of my list. Can't wait to test drive one. Looks like a fun but practical little car with enough room to carry quite a bit of cargo.
ОтветитьHere for the bike test. Looking to move on from my 08 Scion TC and being able to fit a bike in the back is the only thing outside of a manual transmission I'm looking for.
ОтветитьHow tall are you?
ОтветитьBased on the revs hanging you mentioned for this MT Civic, can I assume that it is easier to down-shift due to better rev-matching?
ОтветитьThis vs the corolla.
1. Which fits a bit better?
2. Which has the quieter cabin at speeds?
3. Which has the better manual trans?
and finally... which do you think would last longer for someone who would like to drive their cars to the ground? (turbo on NA engine).
Currently have a Manual Fit and it fits bikes with ease. But lacks on the power department and noisy AF. Just thinking of potential upgrades should anything happen.
One of the best Civic Sport Touring Reviews. Thank you!
ОтветитьThis is the video I was looking for. Do you think I would be able to fish my fat bike through the hatch as you did with your road bike?
ОтветитьGot to drive the Hatchback with manual transmission last week and I must say it is loads of fun to drive. The interior space is awesome as well. It feels like a small SUV with the rear seats down. I've driven many cars in my day but, none of them felt as planted to the ground as the 22 Civic and the 4 cylinder turbo is the smoothest I've driven, it just feels more quality than any 4 banger I've driven. Also, the steering is amazing with great feel and precision. Needless to say I ordered one and should be in next month.
ОтветитьI think it would just be nice if you could put the screen down when not in use.
ОтветитьPlease keep doing the bike test Kurt. Its essential for many of us and no-one else seems to do it. Thanks a lot for your vids.
ОтветитьHave 10 gen si great car, I believe the rev hang is better in 11 gen due to lighter flywheel
ОтветитьI'm trying to buy one. anyone here knows the out-of-door price?
Ответить"This is not an SUV"... Dude... SUV's are a scam. They SUCK in the department of space. Yea... above your head which is useless space !
Ответитьnaturally aspirated is 158 hp in Canada. I went for a test long drive and found the seats very comfy. Clutch was great, it's not a farm truck!
ОтветитьSeems like for 2021, you couldn’t get 6 speed with the 2.0L engine. I’m glad it’s available now, as N/A engines tend to last longer than turbocharged.
ОтветитьI have a 2020 Sport Hatchback, aside looks, the space is about the same. I super recommend this vehicle style. The 5 door hatch looks sporty enough to blend in with some cool sedans but at the same time you get small SUV utility, while not driving a grocery soccer mom mobile. Manual or not the 1.5T is a peppy powerplant. Mine has 17k miles now and runs strong, along with the CVT. Manual would have been my choice if I didn't drive into downtown Chicago daily
