This show is so good it’s just people making cool knives and swords and having a blast

He looks like a blacksmith in a medieval game with armor on and a majestic beard super intimidating but super kind

Who makes the weapons that they had to chose from or the weapons they have to replicate (under the red curtains)

Tobin's health issues were unfortunate, and i think he would have presented a fair blade... But David Baker demonstrated why he is a deserving judge by producing a working, lethal blade in 8 hours which the usual competitors would produce over 4-5 days. Just amazing craftmanship

Dave baker is a Master smith no doubt. That sword looks awesome

I honestly think this is the least toxic show ever. The contestants are always supportive of eachother, the sword users despite wielding deadly weapons are always super nice, Tobin felt comfortable enough to ask for a medic they had one and nobody judged they were all supportive and I feel in most shows Doug would risk using the sword and it would probably be fine since he's an expert but they're all so safety conscious that they were not only careful and chose not to risk it despite it would have made great TV. Again I don't doubt Doug could make it work but it wasn't 100% safe absolutely nobody felt it was worth risking it. Most reality shows just want drama and will push people into veing competitive etc and say eh it will probably be fine for a swing or 2 but no, these guys said it's not safe and called it off.

Tobin glorious end 😇. He did all he can but health issue stop him. But, the best part: He accept that with humble.

What Tobin Nieto had was a Panic Attack. I was going number two one day and all of a sudden my heart just beat so hard it felt like it was about to explode. I was sweating super hard, had shortness of breath, and really felt like I was having a heart attack. For the next 6 months I was worried about my heart and had many more panic attacks that felt like a heart attack. The first panic attack I described took me 3 hours for my heart rate to slow down to normal where I could do normal things again. The fact Tobin endured this panic attack and kept going is testimate to his willpower and strength. I wish there was medicine or a way to know when this health issue can hit you. Unfortunately the minds subconcious is so powerful there is no control. Tobin had less than half the time the judge did.

Met tobin at a knife show, he's a very chill guy. He ate some tamales and one of his swords got to destroy a ballistic dummy torso

Tobin's blade was just not finished. But, keeping healthy was the most important thing for him.

Tobin Nieto is one of the few contestants I'd love to see have his own show/be an interim judge.

Can't really blame the big guy though, he didn't feel to good, the medic had to be called in, he faced against one of the best judges and unwittingly chose to forge one of the most difficult blades in the selection! That and the 8 hours time limit only added fuel to the fire, still a nice watch though!
