when i run fdisk -l. only sda disk is showing the sdb disk is missing and also on fdisk /dev/sdb the error is showinf which is unable to open. what to do?

I think I am dumb, because everyone's in comment saying the best explanation but I didn't understand why sdb, and why not sda device, because my sda device has 448 GB and I want to create a new partition of 200GB from that 448 GB and in my case I didn't have any sdb device

how did you attached the /dev/sdb disk?

how should be failed disk replacement
